Amen to this. And honestly, all you young people, you may not realize that when you get older you will stop revelling so much in your independence from committment. Suddenly, you see all the people who got married and went the traditional route, are the ones who are more secure and far happier. If I could turn time back, I would be more accepting of a traditional role as a married person. Thrice scorched to a crisp, forever shy, that was me. I needed healing, and counseling, not more Lone Wolf behavior. I didn't realize how deep were my scars. (Hindsight is a wonderful thing!) You all, find your partner somehow. just decide to "marry well". Don't be sloppy and careless about it. Go upwards, not downwards, in your choices. It will matter to you sooner than you think.
