I have lived in the Washington D.C. area for 45 years...born and raised. Made a lot of friends, and loved a lot of people.

I can't talk to any of them now without hearing, at some point, Orange Man Bad.

...always with hate and emotion.

I love to debate. I mean, besides the drama of it all, there is so much going on that's FUN and interesting! Spy drama, evil characters, heroes...people who are putting their lives on the line for our country. Imagine having a real debate and competing to see whose ideas will win the day!

Washington D.C. was BUILT FOR THIS...literally!

Can't do it anymore. Not here.

Can't tell my liberal friends and family that, since their side couldn't defeat our champion, President Trump, in our hearts...they can't beat him at the polls. So, they tried using intelligence agencies...didn't work.

Then, deliberately, a virus was released by their ally, China, in an effort to weaken President Trump's economy, then their military arm...Antifa, etc...used the video of the death of another black man at the hands of a police officer (who worked together and had beef) to destabilize cities (largest concentration of money and power) and increase political funds to replace the money lost due to their candidate being a senile figurehead for the people really in charge.

Meanwhile, their political arm at the local and state levels kept people in their homes and afraid death would accompany each handshake, directed the virus into old folks homes and sent asymptomatic hospital patients into wards with symptomatic patients to increase the death count...while their media arm and social media division amped up hate and fear to eliminated any dissenting obstacles...and blamed it all on US and President Trump.

WOW...I thought the 2016 election was wild! Typing it all out like that...LOL!

Anyway, this should be the most fun ever for someone who likes to debate politics as much as I do, but it's not, and it's because everyone I know here has been successfully brainwashed and it's hard to even have normal, non-political conversations with them since they all know I support President Trump. I'm moving to Kentucky. July 1st.

Before I go, I want to FB post something to all of them just to say good bye. I'm not mad, but I also can't protect them from the next offensive by the Democrats and whoever else on that side is really in power. Whatever they pull next, and right up to the October Surprise that I'm sure they got planned, is going to be much more destructive, and no one here that I know can resist it.

I'm not living behind enemy lines with my kids in a state where it's hard to get a gun :-)

Anyone want to offer ideas?

I have thought that, but my grandma, mother, brother, and lots of friends I care about live here. I don't want to say anything about being right. I just want to prepare them, I guess. I'm a little worried about them, to be honest...

So crazy how easy it is to control what people think.

They know I'm moving...and we talk, of course. I'm talking about facebook.

That is an option. I'm just brainstorming. I mean, IF I posted something...what would I say?

Why are you so intent on letting Facebook and the overlords on Silicon Valley know what you’re planning?

—1— is totally correct. Kill the account and move on with your life. Big upside to that is you will find out who gives a genuine fuck about you; ie the people who approach you and ask “where did you go?”.

Say "I regret to announce that this is the end. I'm going now. I bid you all a very fond farewell."

Careful. Someone might take that wording as a suicide note. Call cops and get the Baker Act. Just unplug and move on.

Don’t address them as a group. Tell them individually. That’s what I’m going to do.

minoritytrump [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

I've thought of that, but written words live longer. We already talk, and will whether I live here or somewhere else.

But...I haven't ruled out just talking individually.

I just mean individual messages in general whether spoken or written. Group messages/social media posts are too easy to frame and amplify to disparage you and invert you’re meaning. Just a word of caution but of course take wit a grain of salt.

The one thing I always say to my liberal friends that is simple but has been the most effective...."Do you really believe that elite democrat politicians care about any of us?" To take the partisanship out of it which helps lower the wall, I say "there is no difference in democrat and republicans in DC. They dont care about us, they only care about money and power and we are the people they use to get it"

.

By including both parties it penetrates their defenses. By asking questions it bypasses their walls. They dont need much info, they just need to be prodded into researching it for themselves.

Don't be worried. They chose their side. They are grown ups. If they get hurt or killed, they only have to blame themselves.

Also, move to a red or swing state where your vote makes a difference.

You don't need Facebook to communicate with anyone truly important to you. Leave FB. Just go. Talk to your relatives / friends one on one privately, and let them know where you'll be and that your door will be open to them.

Agree 100% with --1--. Just leave. The ones with TDS won't care bc they despise you.

Yeah...I've never been the type of person who says nothing when I want to say something. I think I just want them to have faith. I mean...we don't watch that stuff...but if you actually believed all the stuff you see on the left side of the news, you'd think President Trump ushered in the apocalypse...

Already signed, sealed, and delivered. Only the box truck is left...LOL

eh...if I only said that, I might as well say nothing. What I really want to say is "virtual life can be manipulated. Real life can't.", but people see stuff on a screen and think that they are living that...and they aren't.

I don't know ONE black person, for example, who doesn't want more police and safer neighborhoods in real life. In virtual life, strangers have come into our areas, trashed everything, and we want the police defunded???

In REAL life, everyone works together regardless of race, and makes friends, gets married to each other, and all that. In virtual life, we don't like or trust each other.

Maybe that's a start...hahaha

Be aware that it affects metropolises far more strongly.

I'm within commuting distance of CHAZ, and yet I'm simultaneously in an area where the Fourth of July has literal cannons discharged.

Stay safe. Keep the important parts safe.

Happen to think a key bit is recognizing why facts and logic don't work.

Godspeed.

I just read that post...very good! Insightful. Definitely help. Thanks

Still don't know "How to Redpill", but recognizing the problem has to be first I guess.

3
minoritytrump [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes...thanks for the bit about facts and logic. After the BLM stuff, it's almost like we are in a parallel universe :-)

Hey Pede! Wishing you the best with your move!

As for what to write on fb, I agree with --1-- pede. Don't write anything. Call the people you care about individually and let them know. Then delete your fb account. No need to virtue signal. Leave that stuff to the leftists. Just my opinion.

GeneralVeers 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don't think there's anything constructive you can leave on FB for them.

Anything that doesn't toe their political line will be in one ear--pardon me--in one eyball and out the other--yikes, that sounded creepy. Anyway, there's nothing you can write that will get through their armor-plated heads.

From my observations (Dr. Karlyn Borysenko for the win) it's usually impossible to force-feed someone a red pill. They have to red pill themselves.

You're going to love my home state. It is great here. That is all you need to know. Prepare to relax.

Keep your mouth shut, get rid of facebook, and stay away from the cities. Even KY is full of them.

It’s a shame my husband and I never met you! We’ve been here for about 20 years, we’re transplants. I kind of want to stick it out for Trump’s 2nd term, my husband would rather leave.

I agree with those who say to scrap it & just enjoy your new life! Good luck with your move.
