I was gonna say, saw a before and after college comparison of Diblasio's kid. After college she has those crazy AOC eyes. It has to be some particular drug they are all taking making them insane. They are definitely insane.
I have legitimately been fascinated by this look for years. All of the mass shooters have the same look in their eyes. Slightly off. Is it a tall tale sign of mental disorder. Are the rest of us supposed to naturally be weary of these people?
When you see someone giving you that look, it generally makes normal people very uncomfortable; because deep down in our hardwired lizard brains, an alarm siren is blaring warning you that this individual is mentally unstable and a potential danger. As a species, we’re very good at picking up subtle (and I suppose not-so-subtle) facial cues that inform us about what’s going on in a subject’s head. We just often can’t consciously describe them.
I've seen the signs first hand: This one chick I was shaging from work gave me that look. Put in my 2 weeks right after that. Was always worried I'd walk into the dry fridge and see her there, waiting for me...
Trust your gut. I was close to a psychopath once and knew something wasn't right. She gaslighted me and turned my friends against me. She persuaded them I was hallucinating because she wanted me to not believe she had like 10 one night stands in a couple months (she wanted to date me).
She was pretty and could fake cry so manipulated them well; they even tried to forcibly enter my workplace to pull me out in order to section me. Evenutally I proved I wasn't hallucinating with witnesses, and she left that day forever.
But my friends couldn't believe they had been fooled. They said the witnesses were also hallucinating and psychotic and wouldn't budge. I had to cut out those friends as we couldn't move on and they refused to have any rational dicussion where we laid out timelines and facts. It was tough to lose them as we were so close before all this.
