Well America inherited it's rebellious spirit from the Brits. Rural Brits are good peeps.

Can attest, rural brits are good people.

Rural Brit here. Am good peeps. Massive Trump fan and I am far from alone in this. Many Brits love him. You will just never see them on TV thanks to BBC bias.

Hey brsmith77, what’s going on with French Navel Ships escorting boat loads of illegal immigrants to British shores? I read a few post about it and both made it sound like “no big deal”. Why hasn’t England put a few of those ships on the bottom on the channel yet?

It's due to a legal loophole in International law.

Our Home Secretary is on it.

I think we inherited it from the French since they guillotined their monarchy while the brits stoll bow to a short 90 year old.

In the last few years our government has been literally held hostage by rabid lefties because of knife edge election results meaning the PM had no real commanding majority in the House of Commons.

As all authority/law making is derived from how many votes you can rally in the house this means all our recent PMs have been what you guys would call Lame Ducks. Everything they tried to do was stymied by the left and our version of Neocons.

On Dec 12th, we the British People corrected that. Nearly every anti Brexit POS suddenly found themselves kicked out of The House and onto the unemployment line, including the LEADER of the second largest left wing opposition party which is unprecedented. Boris was handed a huge majority and he instantly used that power to push Brexit through, ending the years of deadlock in one day.

The EU is now scrambling around, pleading for us to take a softer line in trade negotiations after pouring scorn on us for years. The response from Boris was effectively "Lol, No!" and the EU have all but conceded defeat.

They're a weak lot, some of them in Europe, you know. Weak! Feeble!

You'd never think it but our current government are the Conservatives which are the most right wing of the main parties

Brits don't like their government either. Brexit has been delayed by remoaners and the UK government for far too long. Once the UK is a free nation again, I imagine that the US will be one if its strongest trading partners and allies.

Nothing says more inclusive than banning things.

If you haven't started building a personal library, and have the means to do so, get on it. The "Everyman's Library" imprint is an excellent low-cost way to get a bunch of high-value works in quality bindings.

I'd recommend history books, biographies, and classic literature.

Exactly. Collect things on paper...the digital texts will be altered or suppressed. They cannot easily get rid of physical items

Yeah, but we can start digitally archiving now for basically free and then flesh out the collection with paper.

Feels bad, I went to that University.

In my second year I got to at least see Farage do a talk. Back then I was more of a lefty and went to see what this guy everyone was calling a racist and nazi was all about.

He just told us about the waste of the EU. A good talk and an eye-opener for me.

Right.

You know its an actual book burning because they could just ADD books to their shelves rather than remove "white" books.

It will never be enough. They don't want to be apart of your civilization, they want your civilization burned to ashes.

The spirit behind them hates humanity and everything it stands for -- no surprises there.

You know the difference between cannibals and liberals? Cannibals only eat their enemies

Book burning started awhile ago with the silencing of non leftists on social media.

Nothing done yet but talk.

So, if you destroy every historical reference to racism, couldn't modern racists then say it never existed or happened ? 🤔

sun_wolf 1 point ago +1 / -0

They are going to bring in a bunch of Marxist texts by diversity hires, no one is going to take them out, and they are going to sit on a shelf, spines unbroken, gathering dust. They will not chalk this up to disinterest, either, but racism, requiring them to bring in even more Marxist texts by diversity hires. And all the people complaining that nobody is taking these books out to read will never quite realize that they, too, never took them out to read.
