Trump laid out plans for the Department of Education. Digging up the (sparse)details or outrage at this point would take work. But imagine at least some semblance of something there. "National Charter School" or something as a target. But a lot of the aim was at axing Federal stuff and shoving the problem to the states. The apparent tact that the suits appear to be taking against Google/Facebook appears to be "Virtual Public Square/Company Town".
The Section 230 business ... iff Trump is in office, there would be a lot of shaping up or a lot of money paid out in damages. (Eventually. Supreme Court Justices...) The law as written is already clear - and they've played both sides, it's a matter of spending the time in court to get verdicts.
The tech giants are playing games they won't be able to continue to play out. Which is why they're doubling down in all directions. (IMNSHO)
