We are blessed by these people who walk into the fire.
There are, I am sure, bad police.
But what we have in the USA is the greatest law enforcement group of souls that has ever existed in the history of mankind. And that is intended to not be hyperbole, but exactly accurate.
I hate the Unions. I hate the "Leaders". But those people who call themselves Deputy Sheriffs or Police.... those people are Our Best.
There are. Difference is the Left wants you to believe the "bad police" are going out looking for people to beat up and/or shoot. In actuality, the "bad police" are really just lazier, slower to respond, have bad attitudes (a.k.a. better cut out for a desk job where they're not dealing with the public as much), are the types where they think they should get free food, etc. Not violent. You know...pretty much like every other job in the world, INCLUDING media and politics.
If we all spend all of our time noodling at the margins while the whole country burns, that burn will be our fault.
There is not a single institution in the USA that could not use reform (or demolition). And this is because human nature can often be venal and descend to bad sh!t.
But that does not mean "defund the police" or some sort of insane idea. Folks with this idea will be cutting of their nose, and mine, to spite their face.
There is not a single institution in the USA that could not use reform (or demolition).
When I read this, the entire public "education" system immediately comes to mind. Maybe the single most destructive force in this country right now behind Leftist politicians. Although, they're arguably one in the same.
That alone eliminates most of Washington D.C. Good start. Empty the government buildings and either turn them into housing, hotels, museums or raize them and create parkland. Anything but "jobs" for people who do nothing except make life worse for everyone.
In addition, they're humans who sometimes have 'bad' days. Imagine the quality of your work judged solely based on the worst 2-3 days you've ever had on the job. Everyone would look like a giant piece of shit if that were the case.
Actually, the police do a pretty shit job of defending us in general. I've never been happy with how the police operate. They aren't systematically racist, but they're lazy, unhelpful, lying fucks. Most are complete assholes.
Plus a lot of them are taking a knee now. Spineless.
Do you guys remember how they had our back and defended the constitution during the coronavirus scam?
Meh, police just sold us out a month ago. I don’t want to defund the police but i don’t love them either. Are there good cops? Sure. But we saw ourselves almost cops were functioning as nazi brownshirts and turned into little robots for the NWO overnight
They had no issue arresting innocent “Trump” supporters at the park and beach but are not arresting looters and criminals.
While I agree with the statement “police shouldn’t investigate police” I am sure this is a highly simplistic view of the reality. It’s like saying to the military, that the military shouldn’t investigate the military, completely ignoring the JAG profession. We don’t need some body like OSHA/EPA that has nothing to do with the industry they are watching over creating policies that they themselves will never have to follow. This is how you create an organization that the left can lobby directly and corrupt. Then you end up with pointless crazy ass ideas like the new OSHA ladder safety system.
While there are stories where police are held accountable for their nefarious actions I feel there are many more times when police are not held accountable which leads to potential more instances of bad cops getting away with bad stuff.
You'll do better to target qualified immunity than the procedural aspects, not just in regard to the police, but in regard to every facet of government.
The whole point is that some do and some don't. Focus the anger at those who do and quit painting with such a broad brush. There are bad cops and good cops. There are protesters and there are rioters. There is Trump and there are Swamp rats. There is Fauci and there are actual DOCTORS.
Same thoughts. I’m not gung ho “muh thin blue line” but they’re absolutely necessary. I used to support them, but now I’m ambivalent to them. They’re not gonna get hate from me, but I won’t bend over backwards to support them anymore.
It's a difficult line to toe. On the one hand they are following orders, but on the other they are able to disobey unlawful orders.
These laws were somewhat grey area which is why some forces were saying they were not going to enforce them. I would imagine other forces gave their officers a choice between enforcing them or taking leave without pay.
I disagree with the lockdowns wholeheartedly, but I do have an understanding as to why some officers followed the orders. The power tripping ones I'll never side with.
Police follow orders so they can keep their job. They do not defend the Constitution or American citizens. Police are necessary for a lawful and ordered society, but don't pretend like they have our back when TSHTF.
"Second Set of Books" + Pensions + Bad Apples/Interlopers. We actually agree.
"No Duty to Protect".
And no, I do not count on the police for my safety. We agree on that as well. However, no police will yield a country where no amount of personal defense will save you from violence. We need both.
If some commie supervisor told them to take away your guns because you support Trump and are thus a threat, the cop's will do it. They just follow orders. Which is also what all the Nazis said once on trial. Don't think for a second they protect you, your rights or the constitution.
End no knock warrants, civil asset forfeiture, the public sector union, militarization of departments, and qualified immunity.
And stop falling for the hegelian dialectic, the police are an organization and organizations exist primarily to ensure its power, usually at the detriment of its members.
Police Unions should provide advocacy, but NEVER authority over investigations of police brutality. There should also be some level of discipline between acceptance or termination.
Have we already forgotten the time when they were shutting businesses down without a care in a world? Finally, one cop speaks up and he ends up getting fired...
I was a tentative cop supporter, but after that, I'm neutral. Cops just follow orders, constitutional or not. I get it. Gotta put food on the table.
This is not the majority of cops. These jackwagons get all the attention. The majority of them are just like us, especially in rural areas. City cops, not so much. This is why I simply avoid big cities at all costs. Urban democrat controlled areas suck.
Agreed except many urban police forces are still good. Honestly overall I think NYC is amazing and I know from experience the Boston PD are mostly awesome too. I say mostly because of course there are some really bad apples. But it's not like where the force overall seems corrupt and evil. There are some small towns near me that are like that btw. Not mine thank goodness.
What they did was demonic. Enforced and set the stage for the New World Order, it literally cannot be worst than that. To say what they did was “unacceptable” would be Disrespectful.
As far as I’m concerned they partook in Nazi-level crime against their own people.
Same with all the black appeasement shit... they literally just went around attacking people, burning houses with people inside them, attacking animals, and looting small businesses. But hey, gotta get those leftist virtue signalling points eh.
Remember, cops come from the general population and reflect that. Same percentage of shit heads and the rest good. If no cop is good then no civilian is good as we come from your ranks. Adults can see the difference. Honest people admit it.
I am sure there are bad cops, just like bad people exist in any other group of people, but the idea we can have a peaceful society without police is idiotic. No surprise that the same people who think communism can actually work also think we don’t need cops. There are genuinely bad people out there who will rape or kill regardless of how many social workers are there to help them.
If you don’t want to live in a third world country, you need a good, strong police force to maintain order.
Being a cop is a very hard job and more dangerous than most jobs. I respect them and appreciate them. I hope they see the writing on the wall with Dems and will stand with Trump.
the idea we can have a peaceful society without police is idiotic
Can we have a peaceful society when the police enforce unconstitutional laws?
How about when the police enforce the laws for one group, but not for other groups by obeying "stand down" orders?
I haven't forgotten the unconstitutional lockdown enforcement.
I haven't forgotten that police bent the knee to the protesters.
And I haven't forgotten that police stood down while monuments were vandalized.
Have people forgotten the college campus riots after the previous election? Where police stood down as Trump supporters were violently attacked without repercussion. Remember Based Stickman? Look what they did to him.
I hope they see the writing on the wall with Dems and will stand with Trump.
We do not have a "Police Problem". Or a "Race Problem". Sure, all of that exists to a degree. But what we really have is a Weight of the State problem. Too many laws. None of them Constitutional. Provided to us by our Overlords.
Reject.

Oh, and we also have a Commie problem. And we have to kill that as well. Because Commies are Evil.
If there's an airport shooting and the TSA is a victim I'm not going to feel bad, it won't be a tragedy, and I'm not about to defend those assholes.
The police do have a problem. It's not a racial inequality problem it's a civil liberties problem but they're not obligated to listen to the people they supposedly "protect and serve"
I agree, if there's a problem with the police it's more of an abuse of power issue, not a racism issue. They refuse to get rid of bad cops, they harass innocent civilians who are peacefully protesting and refuse to arrest rioters and terrorists. They enforce stupid, unconstitutional laws (the stay at home crap), but refuse to enforce the laws we already have that keep society safe.
Yesterday I went to my local police department (NYC) to give them some donuts and coffee and give them a big thank you for everything they do. They were really thankful and sweet and agreed that everything that’s going on is bullshit but that it’s getting better for them. They will remove funding but they don’t know the details yet. I felt so bad for them but they seemed positive (probably because they have no other choice).
I’d urge all of you to pop into your local department to express your support!
No. I am applying for a gun license in MA at the local PD. I keep contacting them but they are stalling despite knowing it is my constitutional right. Fuck cops. I no longer support them.
Instead of selling merch, Trump should get rid of the fascist commie scum. Just tweeting and raking in money is very bad optics. He doesn't even get rid of the military leaders undermining him.
Well, police just caught 4 armed thugs that broke into a local store with guns to burglarized it. They worked their asses off to catch them. Steak dinners on the way for the entire crew.
I work in a grocery store and started buying any officers groceries. Most say no but are very appreciative and shake their hand. I'm sick of them being defamed.
If there's a cop in line behind me at a drive-through, I'll pay for their order. I know they get a lot of hate and they probably have stressful shit going on in their lives. A kind gesture can go a long way and something like that would make my day.
Do you guys remember how early on in the plandemic there were a bunch of people on here shitting on the police? It was very odd and I noticed it at the time and thought they were shills but couldn't figure out the angle. Well obviously we know now.
I don't have a problem with that, and I agree. But there were quite a few piling on talking about how all police are terrible, we need to get rid of them etc etc. Those accounts were new and it seemed very inorganic.
Police are the least racist people in America
100%.
And So Say All of Us.
There are. Difference is the Left wants you to believe the "bad police" are going out looking for people to beat up and/or shoot. I am sure there is "every kind" of bad police.
If we all spend all of our time noodling at the margins while the whole country burns, that burn will be our fault.
There is not a single institution in the USA that could not use reform (or demolition). And this is because human nature can often be venal and descend to bad sh!t.

I am in favor of a BIG haircut for just about every part of the USA Gummint.
The Weight of the State is unsustainable and has at this point destroyed our Liberty.
But I won't do the "Washington Monument Strategy", like the assh0le Democrats, defunding our Military first.
No, no, no. What is not in the Constitution needs the chop.
That alone eliminates most of Washington D.C. Good start. Empty the government buildings and either turn them into housing, hotels, museums or raize them and create parkland. Anything but "jobs" for people who do nothing except make life worse for everyone.
My thoughts. Exactly.
In addition, they're humans who sometimes have 'bad' days. Imagine the quality of your work judged solely based on the worst 2-3 days you've ever had on the job. Everyone would look like a giant piece of shit if that were the case.
Only criminals and degenerates hate the police.
Me neither.
Not only but especially. The other haters have flimsy fabricated excuses.
Ehhh, I would argue purple-haired fatties in Starbucks are the least racist.
Ironically they are the most racist.
Love this. I subscribed.
It’sa really easy fix but police don’t want it. Stop having police investigate police.
Bad cops get away with doing bad things because they’re rarely held accountable.
While I agree with the statement “police shouldn’t investigate police” I am sure this is a highly simplistic view of the reality. It’s like saying to the military, that the military shouldn’t investigate the military, completely ignoring the JAG profession. Valid point.

Boom
You'll do better to target qualified immunity than the procedural aspects, not just in regard to the police, but in regard to every facet of government.
This is true as well. Leaders are poisoned. Rank-and-file may have forgotten their oath or be protecting a pension.
But we're moving beyond that now. Moving to a moment. When we will find who will stand and defend our country.
And I expect to see many of them on my side.
They literally bent the knee to the protesters.
The whole point is that some do and some don't. Focus the anger at those who do and quit painting with such a broad brush. There are bad cops and good cops. There are protesters and there are rioters. There is Trump and there are Swamp rats. There is Fauci and there are actual DOCTORS.
I agree. Generalizations are why we're in this problem in the first place.
Divide. Et Impera.
It's how our Opponents work.
Divide and Rule.
Divide to Rule.
Nobody hates dirty cops more than clean cops.
They should act like it then instead of "muh thin blue line."
There are interlopers in the rank and file.
But most of this is either well-meaning dumbassery, or being ordered to do this by their management.
Same thoughts. I’m not gung ho “muh thin blue line” but they’re absolutely necessary. I used to support them, but now I’m ambivalent to them. They’re not gonna get hate from me, but I won’t bend over backwards to support them anymore.

The police defend The Constitution.
But unfortunately, now they also defend The Second Set of Books.
https://therationalmale.com/2014/01/14/the-second-set-of-books/
And it is time for them, now, to decide.
Police follow orders so they can keep their job. They do not defend the Constitution or American citizens. Police are necessary for a lawful and ordered society, but don't pretend like they have our back when TSHTF.

All issues that must be addressed for our future.

Police Unions should provide advocacy, but NEVER authority over investigations of police brutality. There should also be some level of discipline between acceptance or termination.
End "stand down" orders. Equal treatment under the law must not be optional!
A BIG +1 to this. All of it.
We wouldn't have this at all if there weren't a certain segment of the population that's hyper violent and constantly committing violent crime.
Then police go on to apply the tactics needed just to barely contain that group to other groups who commit very little violent crime.
I appreciate your principle, just be aware of what the outcome of this being implemented, especially ending qualified immunity, would be in real life.
EDIT: I love how you downvoted but didn't offer a coherent response, or any response at all. It's like being back on reddit.
8 days late but just letting you know I don't downvote. I'll deport leftists or upvote but never downvote.

Cities in general are a poison to the soul.
Rural areas aren't the ones trying to defund the police.
"Defend the police" is talking about city cops.
These are the cops threatened with defunding.
These are the areas trying to defund police.
These are the police who enforced unconstitutional lockdowns on people.
These are the police who bent the knee to the protesters.
I have just seen the top cop in some rather rural MA town lying on the floor begging BLM for forgiveness.
What they did was demonic. Enforced and set the stage for the New World Order, it literally cannot be worst than that. To say what they did was “unacceptable” would be Disrespectful.

Same with all the black appeasement shit... they literally just went around attacking people, burning houses with people inside them, attacking animals, and looting small businesses. But hey, gotta get those leftist virtue signalling points eh.
Communist level crime, since that's who is directing this shit and where the tactics come from.
It's all about that paycheck and pension....
Remember, cops come from the general population and reflect that. Same percentage of shit heads and the rest good. If no cop is good then no civilian is good as we come from your ranks. Adults can see the difference. Honest people admit it.

After the little display from Matthis and friends, I'm a little concerned that the Obama appointments may not have been flushed out.
I don't blame the police for those situations. I blame the shitty politicians who pass the laws and give these orders to the police.
It worked fine before we started importing millions of third world savages.
Libertarians would disagree that a society can't be peaceful without police.
Let's not go all the way here...

Why they gotta use all those racist black people hatin' models for these shirts?

Well, police just caught 4 armed thugs that broke into a local store with guns to burglarized it. They worked their asses off to catch them. Steak dinners on the way for the entire crew.
It's their freaking job. Will Joe Sixpack get a steak dinner every time he does the job he gets paid for? Literally, WTF??
The one in Texas?
Frankly I would expect to get fired and/or beaten if I wear this shirt, no matter how much I believe in the message.
Can you believe America?!
Weimarica*
Awesome! 👍🚓💙
I love how they used a black model for this. She's the same one that modeled for the You Ain't Black shirt. Who is this wonderful woman?
We really do have the smartest President!!
Cool shirt, but wearing that is a death sentence where I live.
Tijuana? : )
I think I broke the record for the longest lasting sticky. Thank you mods.
I work in a grocery store and started buying any officers groceries. Most say no but are very appreciative and shake their hand. I'm sick of them being defamed.
Hard to defend the assholes who enforced edicts from would be monarchs during the Rona Hoax.
notice they used all black models for the hats and tshirts lmao
My brother was a Cop for over 25 years, he is a grumpy bastard that just does not like stupid people.
Has anyone else bought it?
If there's a cop in line behind me at a drive-through, I'll pay for their order. I know they get a lot of hate and they probably have stressful shit going on in their lives. A kind gesture can go a long way and something like that would make my day.
I wish they made the color red, so it's more brighter and clear. I understand the motivation for blue to support the police though.
You might be arrested for violating socialist distancing guidlines.
