That is literally the saddest garden I have ever seen. I think my kindergarten class had more success when we put beans in a paper cup of dirt in the windowsill. (there was one kid who stuck a bean in his ear and had to go to the ER to get it out. In thinking about it now, 50 years later, I'm pretty sure he grew up to be the guy in this picture with his head in his hands.)
The kid with the bean in his ear probably had more success than these idiots will. Nothing will grow in that silly little mess before the grass reclaims it, and if it does, anything that begins to sprout will be prematurely stolen before it matures.
