I would insist that they remain here, to live their lives as second class citizens; to be repressed; to be used as political pawns, bought and paid for with welfare, cheap booze and drugs. And I would NEVER tell them that they could escape all of this by returning to their ancestral home where they and their children could live in peace and prosperity, without the evil white man.
