For awhile there, it actually appeared that social media was going to be designated a publishing platform. Then the subject died down.

If they had done it then (when they said they were going to) all of this (rioting, looting, damage to property, police and civilian deaths) could be laid at the door of social media in a lawsuit. These anit-fa and BLM people plan their events on social media. By giving them a nationwide platform for this -- they would be liable for millions, if not billions. BUT somebody has to get moving on this because there is a lot more they 're planning. They can be bankrupted with claims if they make it retroactive to cover these riots.

Waiting for our side to do anything is like waiting for Godot.

It takes a long time. They’ll have to promulgate FCC rules, debate them, release them for public commentary, debate them again, probably get sued or something, then pass them.

Hopefully they’re ready with the first stage already.

You don't have to be a super sleuth to figure out they were probably pressured
