That we are becoming awake that many things we have created and put on pedestals and made very wealthy, are nothing merely than "opium for the masses"...

Hollywood movies, tv shows, sports (with all the virtue signalling), comedians...

I love playing sports, but with all the manufactured drama...I don't know if I'll go back to watching...how much more productive could we be without this all? Or, maybe the solution is to cap salaries of sports to that of a labourer...

For me it all started with the Penn State football debacle. Former coach caught raping kids, swept under the rug by a revered coach and corrupt University president. Made me question what was really important in life.

Then the NFL kneeling tipped me right over the edge.

Since then I have started painting again, written and recorded an album, and have recently been doing other interesting projects, all while spending more time in my normal job. I don’t miss football at all.
