I worry about Trump supporters who are ok with violence against leftists. Don't get me wrong, I despise them as much as the next guy here, but if we are to be successful, it will be because we are above them. Don't give the media any ammo.
So I agree with you, but watch the video carefully again. I am not 100% sure this person meant to move forward. Literally just before he moves forward the second time hitting the person there is a bottle which is thrown right at them and they are in an open vehicle. A bottle like that hitting you could easily make you flinch and lift your foot or even react in a way that makes you want to flee. Notice they stop again after they hit the person and only start speeding away when when people start screaming at them and heading for their car.
Don't get me wrong, violence by private individuals not protecting their lives is not okay, but I think it is entirely possible this particular incident may be justified, though that is for the courts to decide. Regardless this is not the kind of thing we should espouse as a good thing.
