Conservatives are politically lazy. As a conservative myself, it sucks to type that, but it's true. We prefer to live and let live, move out to the countryside, and grumble about how crazy liberals are to each other. There is something fundamentally passive about our approach to politics, almost like it's a spectator sport. If you give a conservative a good wife, a decent job, some kids, and a piece of land, they'll generally never bother you again. They believe that voting is the most political engagement they need to partake in.

The left doesn't operate like this. They are not content to live and let live. They want to know what you're thinking, if you're towing the party line. They will come for you in your red state, in your rural paradise, in your homestead deep innawoods. They demand complete ideological submission to whatever they read in the NYTimes this morning. And they're getting increasingly bolder.

Look at the state of the country. It's out of control. They're trying to abolish the police. They're burning down any business or building they disagree with. They're pulling down statues like the Taliban. They're getting people fired for not literally bowing before the leftist cause. We may laugh here about their incompetence or hypocrisy, but these are very dangerous times. They don't give a shit about any Enlightenment-era understanding of human rights or the Constitution. They want you to bend the knee(or better yet, to disappear).

The conservative generally doesn't want to get involved; he has too much to lose. He's a pretty nice dude with a family to think about. But we're all going to have to do something, because America is resembling a third world country more and more with every day that passes. Eventually, conservatives are going to have to fight back, and yes, that will mean losing our homes, jobs, families, even lives for some of us.

We are entering a revolutionary time. Voting will not be enough. We are going to have to fight these people if we want America to be here for our children.
