Over the past 2 months I've seen a lot of posts making claims without providing a source link. Many of us come to TD for our news, and have way to much trust in each other with no sources. Here is a prime example from today.

Here at TD we should set the bar high when it comes to news. Failing to provide any source makes us look just as bad as CNN, MSN, MSNBC etc.
Let's all work on being better at providing source link for an image immediately or just make it a link post. Use image posts for memes, shitposts.
Happy Sunday Gunday, Happy Flag Day, and Happy Birthday Donald Trump!
Ugh we gotta find some middle ground for these cases. Why shoot when running away? Why not chase? If it was a white girl, guns would not have been involved at all.
Did you miss the part where he shot the taser at the cop's face? white girl wouldn't have fought both the cops, punched them, stole their weapon and then shot the taser at the cop while running.
Yeah but that’s after he had been mentally browbeat for like 20 min. Couldn’t the cop have taken an extra five min to be like “you passed all our tests, but you still seem intoxicated. We’re just gonna keep an eye on you and you’ll be release tomorrow morning.” Drunk dude did not deserve to die even if he shot a cop with a taser.
Dude was straight up running away. Couldn’t have really cause much harm to anyone but himself
No he didn't. He contradicted every answer he gave. Then got a 108 on his breath analyzer test which is clearly DUI. I don't think you have actually bothered watching the body cam footage because if you did, you won't be saying stuff like that. Dude was literally contradicting him again and again, he was that drunk.
Deadly Force Triangle assessment:
OPPORTUNITY - Did he have the opportunity to cause serious harm or death once he had the taser?
Yes, he was within distance, had a taser capable of incapacitating the officer and potentially killing him once the officer was down.
ABILITY - Did he actually have the means to cause a serious injury/death situation?
Yes, similarly, he had a weapon plenty capable of causing harm itself and/or creating a situation, if successfully deployed, that could’ve resulted in death.
JEOPARDY - Was there a real threat or was the individual acting in a threatening manner indicating his intentions were to cause harm/death?
Yes, he fought officers, wrestled away a weapon capable of disabling someone and was resisting a lawful arrest and attempting to use the weapon.
VERDICT - Justified shooting
APPEAL:
Can we remove one of these factors so it would not have been justified?
OPPORTUNITY - If he was 100 feet away, he would not have had the opportunity. He was close and even if he ran a short distance, could’ve easily turned and used the weapon.
ABILITY - If he did not succeed in taking the taser, but was still near the officers, he would not have had the ability. He, in fact, did have the taser.
JEOPARDY - If he complied with a lawful arrest, or was not aggressive in his actions, there’d be no jeopardy. He resisted a completely legitimate arrest, fought officers, stole a weapon and attempted to use it.
RULING - Stands, justified shooting
Yeah I meant the physical tests. I wasn’t sure what the 108 stood for. I’ve never seen blood alcohol content measured that way.
Still, when dealing with drunks you gotta understand that decision-making skills aren’t the best. Couldn’t they have tried to defuse the situation a bit and lead him up to “we’re gonna arrest you”? It seemed so abrupt
