The Liberal cities are gonna try to address the lack of Truck drivers in the only way they can. They will make it illegal to not deliver supplies to them, which is gonna prove interesting since the Truckers who violate the order won't be in their jurisdiction to have the order enforced. Since Truckers are generally adept at moving from point A to point B.
This reality will likely result in the Mayors and other leaders decrying the awful and mean Truckers to their now hungry and angry citizens. This of course will result in even fewer truckers being willing to risk the angry/starving mobs.
This is gonna get bad, and soon.
