This got even worse because in many D city you don't even have bail anymore so you commit a felony and they let you out on a promise to return later to court even if caught multiple times for the same crimes. Most criminals not being completely dumb take this as a license to do what they want. This is all part of the D strategy of if they can't keep power then they will burn it all down around them and force the opposition to submit or everyone loses. This threat has worked for decades until Trump called them out and now backed into a corner they unleash the beast they made.
