Oklahoma is the reddest state he chose it because low covid numbers and of course massive support Tulsa is also close to a lot of other red states. He's going to get some great optics
Good optics are an understatement. Tulsa is the Bluest city in the state (still red though). The overwhelming interest practically guarantees the crazies will be out in force to “REEEEEEESIST.” The areas immediately surrounding downtown were fairly poor last time I was there (been a few years), so if riots spill out of the inner part of the city (which is not huge), you’ll see echoes of the “Burning of Black Wall Street,” led by racist dems. Because it’s OK, The media will attempt to spin the violence as being a result of “Alt Right Racist Agitators,” but it will be clear the the responsibility falls at the feet of BLM/Antifa.
You’re right the areas surrounding downtown are the poorer areas.i think the president will bring the mayor up also he has been trying to make inroads with the black community and speaks of greenwood quite a bit
