My wife and I stepped out in faith in late February on a very ambitious move and job change. Covid has seriously derailed our plans and as a result, we've had to eat into our savings pretty deeply.
Before this is over, we may have to default on our old house or maybe even declare bankruptcy. It probably won't come to that, but even the possibility is frightening.
That said, no matter what happens, my kids will not go hungry. We have a good personal safety net and this is a great nation. Everything else is just vanity
Thanks Pede. It'll work out, but just kinda sucks. Figured I'd vent here because I'd been holding it together until the recent Antifa/BLM stuff and the supposed poll numbers.
Even if the worst happens to us financially, I've been confident we could recover. Not so much if the Left succeeds in burning down our society. I'm not a worrier, but I've been rather worried the past few days. This thread is really helpful though.
I was extremely angered over these events as well and this place offered solid advice, calm words and scripture to ease my soul. I like how you choose optimism. Negativity leads to negativity just like violence leads to violence. The left chooses negativity, thus why they always lose. You have good reason to be worried about this current period of time but I truly believe President Trump is in control. Steve Bannon was dead on when he said that the left would not give the country up without a fight. MAGA
