OK, I have a question Lawyer Pedes. Did I miss something or could you, up until today, fire someone for being gay? Is that a thing? I feel like there are holes in the story here that I'm not being told or that I'm misunderstanding. Anyone got a place I can go for a full breakdown?

Got it. I see both sides of the ruling now. In the broad language, it is not apparently spelled out that sexual orientation is included, but by the standards of a normal person, it would be included. Still, Kavanaugh's writing makes sense - the language isn't as such but it is up to the legislative branch to amend the law.
