if he watched the body cam video he would see, everything was under control right up until he got cuffs put on. Then he just went crazy and attacked the officers
Some people who don't know anything about violence have this erroneous idea that there are "highly trained" individuals who can control every aspect of a violent situation, every time.
Then one must consider an individual like Mr. Brooks or Mr. Floyd who repeatedly gets into violent situations. Sooner or later, the law of averages comes into play.
You think this helps your case, but it does not. If the suspect is running away, then you can pick him up later. He is not an immediate threat. He can’t get back to his car.
Some jackass was trying to posit the same thing yesterday. That is was an occupational failure on the officers part and a life failure on the suspects part as it obviously brought his to an end. Offered no suggestions on how they could have done things differently, and seemingly implied that the officer should have just yanked his ass out of the car and cuffed him right off the bat rather than treat him like a person. They’re both idiots. Police handled it perfectly. Was very nice to him. Gave him every opportunity to comply. Didn’t antagonize him. Didn’t manhandle him until he tried to run, and even then waited until he had a weapon himself before applying deadly force. This isn’t about police brutality at this point. This is about an alarming amount of black people who think they’re gods who should be able to go around and do whatever they want and if white people, police or not, try to get in their way or say anything about it, they’s wayciss and should be buried under the jail, or killed
We need those bracelets the villain had in The Incredables, I mean crime rates would go through the roof, cause you know...no repercussions...but it would be funny to see someone frozen in the act of a crime. Then a new conversation would start about rehabilitation of criminal minds, and......reprogramming everyone would become a thing.

Sheriff Bell explains here

Not just aim, he fired the taster at the officer.
