I had an old Japanese guy refuse to sell me his house. Blatantly so. I'm just white heterosexual male slime, at least in the eyes of the courts, so I just moved on and bought something nicer. But I absolutely agree with you.
You would have spent days scrubbing off all the grease from the kitchen cabinets if you bought an Asian owned house. I'm not sure what it is, but they tend to get grease/oil everywhere in the kitchen.
The kitchen was small and not particularly clean, absolutely. The rest of the house was basically worn-out 1970's vintage: shag carpeting and everything. All it had going for it was being big and with a large backyard. Honestly, I dodged a bullet. It would have needed much more money and renovation than I really should have considered.
Old Japanese guy was possibly drunk, pointing out that he was Japanese and then pointing at the row of neighboring houses and telling me they were owned by Chinese, Koreans, Filipinos, etc. Basically, telling me I didn't belong. Then he sold to another Japanese family.
lol, I'm white and my boss is a Mexican immigrant from Chihuahua.
he tells me all the time, "You need us beaners". lmao. He also said some fucked up shit when Kobe died. lol. I am constantly telling him its 2020 and he cant say 90% of the stuff he says. LOL
Eh, I'm the wrong person to ask. I think all racial slurs are funny and should be embraced.
I eat beans almost everyday (they're a healthy superfood and are great for putting on muscle) so I can't really be mad if somebody calls me a beaner. It's the truth!
Lol!!! I think it was the conflation of the So EU latin origins thing that happened- with some areas of the US being more finely aware of the separate groups and thus tuning the insults
Yeah lol this was my first thought.
I'm an American of hispanic descent living in CA and I use "beaner" every day
I'm Hispanic too and lots of minorities don't like all the illegals there. White people were actually the most tolerant and older Asians the worst.

Because asian food is greasy as fuck, and cooked over super high temperatures. That shit splatters EVERYWHERE.

That has also been my experience.
Hey beaner
Sorry, my preferred pronoun is "Wetback" lol

Mexico have a tiny tiny black population.... they are not particularly woke either. I dont wish the live of a black man in mexico to anyone.
'beaner'? how derogatory is that considered?

I'm not hispanic, but I, too, am a beaner.
Before being embraced by the Chicano culture and Cheech & Chong, it was an ugly insult like spic for Italian heritage.
Now it is either a hilarious joke, a friendly inside raz, or almost prideful identifier.
I thought spics were also Hispanic? And Italians were “guineas” or guidos offensively.
If so I’ve been insulting my husband incorrectly

Nothing more derogatory than calling me a Democrat & assuming I’m liberal since I’m Hispanic.
frijolero/a gets my Mexican wife angry, lol
