That’s one of the left’s biggest faults with their collectivist mindset, is when they apply it to Mexico. Mexico has a highly stratified caste system, and those who jump the border illegally are usually the lowest caste “hillbillies” of Mexico. Those who immigrate legally are from the upper castes because they can afford it.
So it’s actually kinda offensive to the legal immigrants when the left acts like legal and illegal immigration are the same thing, and legal immigrants from Mexico should feel brotherhood with the illegals and support them.
They’re completely wrong of course, like they are with most things.
