All the SJW types I know here are constantly demeaning people in ‘fly over territory’ for being backward racist hillbillie idiots. Anyone that actually leaves the state always says the same thing though:

“I had a really good time and everyone was really nice to me.”

Doesn’t stop them from perpetuating an ever elusive stereotype of people in states like FL or Alabama seemingly waiting for people of other races at the airport with pitchforks though.

People always talk about how I’m really nice and ‘that’s rare out here’. It’s because I’m not from here. Although I’ve been here a while, I’m from the places people make fun of. Places where people actually don’t prioritize race above all else.
