All Hispanics enjoy unearned privilege by virtue of being the ancestors of colonial empirical Europeans that conquered the majority of the Americas and much of the rest of the world at one point or another. Their ancestors committed unspeakable horrors ranging from slavery to genocide. They were such prolific colonizers that Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world behind Mandarin, and AHEAD of English. This has led to systemic biases in the modern world that unfairly advantage all Hispanic individuals whether they are intentionally "overtly racist" or not.

Sounds to me like someone needs to "check their privilege".
