No hire. No need to fire. That's what this ruling will do. Make LBGT folks less employable.

36
daty_dato 36 points ago +42 / -6

Exactly this. If they where hired, they will be fired just like anyone else. A series of written warning then they get shown the door. Coulter's take is dumb.

-5
Horkers4Trump -5 points ago +18 / -23

Coulter's take is dumb.

So many people here are too. The lack of understanding about this ruling is truly astonishing.

You can't fire a trans person for being trans. What's wrong with that? Just wait for them to give you a legitimate reason and pull the trigger.

Similarly, you can't fire a straight person for being straight. Sexual identity is now a legally protected class. If you feel like you were fired for being straight, go ahead and sue.

Ultimately, this ruling isn't going to change much of anything.

You obviously haven't experienced a useless coworker falling back on their race or gender as a get-out-of-firing-free card.

I absolutely have. And you know what happened to those coworkers?

They got fired.

Because there was a legitimate reason to do so.

16
ThisTrainHasNoBrakes 16 points ago +16 / -0

Then you haven't really gotten the full experience, be glad. Plenty of places are too scared. In my case there was two black women who each lied about having degrees or any computer experience. Proven and undisputed. Government would not fire. Were offered training (what?!), they refused.

Not only did they do their nails instead of working, those were two slits we couldn't hire for.

Absolutely toxic situation for everyone. It happens.

tgwbd -6 points ago +2 / -8

Perhaps you should blame your employer for their clearly inappropriate interpretation of Title XII instead of blaming the law? Not all companies are like you describe.

7
ThisTrainHasNoBrakes 7 points ago +7 / -0

What in my comment above makes you think I don't blame my employer?

All parties are at fault.

I 100% agree with this. Much like the gay marriage ruling, the outcome doesn't bother me, it's the process used to achieve it that I disagree with. I think Kavanaugh's dissent was pretty much perfect on this one.

Oops I misspelled her name. Don’t care. Fuck you, Ann.

The reason why I dont see this working even if they tried, WHICH I DO BELIEVE THEY ARE ACTUALLY DEMONICSLLY RETARDED ENOUGH TO TRY, is because trans people are still like, way less than a percent of the population.

They're gonna be sitting there saying "how can trans be equal I'd theres only 300 trans in the healthcare field" for the rest of their lives.

There are so few trans they actually have to go out and convince people to become trans and it's not a good look. That's why they sacrifice their kids and shit.

They arent smart enough to realise why mostly men work in HVAC they definitely arent smart enough to try to successfully get enough trans people to even come close to "equality" as they see it.

So I believe it will make them less employable because employers want to be able to fire shit employees. So they wont hire someone they think will create more problems than solutions.

Of course they will always be the retards like the women who start businesses to only hire women. That might happen but their businesses usually fail quickly anyway considering if they're more focused on discriminating based on gender than actually running their business lol.

That being said the corporations might try and that'll be their mistake. They can go ahead and collapse their business if they want. Something else will pop up and itll probably help our small businesses. Unless your small business is dependent on these corporations doing business with you. In which case I would say, dont do business with people who do business with cheap chinese scams of products and materials. I'm starting my business with as much made in america materials as I possibly can. I don't give a fuck about amazon and their cheap shit. If they want to put a tranny in charge of their accounting then they can have fun sorting through that disaster themselves lol. If I was in charge of amazon if put male and female on the application and if you think you're neither of those then you are not mentally qualified to handle the responsibilities of the workplace environment I want to safely put them into. If they're a danger to themselves. They're too dangerous for me to compromise my employees saftey and mental health. Last thing I want is my employees coming to work having to listen to some retard screaming about definitions that dont exist lol.

Exactly, also Transgenderism is a fad of the left. Its brought upon by Marxism, and we've lived with Trannies since the 70's to be quite honest. The only difference now with a 2020 trans vs a 1980's trans is the sexual deviancy. What I mean is back then they were benign and often was just a phase or fad for people whom eventually grew out of it in their later years.

What this does if anything legalizes transgenders sexually harassing anyone at the work place and getting away with it (especially women). A man who identifies as a woman can now be a creep to women as much as he wants but never get fired because it'd be discriminatory until it becomes an issue.

I do expect that this goes into place cameras will start propping up more to record incidents.

This is blatant anti-women and puts them in the greatest of danger.

He's saying something real though. There are ~44 million black people and like maybe ~100k trans people in America.

You can have all the quotas you want, the people don't exist to fill them.

LGBT represent around 5% of the population. In many areas, they likely represent less than 1% of the population.

At this point, I would not hire anyone who even hangs out with the SJW. Too much potential liability when (not if) they are "disrespected" at work.

All prospective hires should be vetted by searching social media, either by a qualified HR department or through a third party entity.

The blow back to all this identity politics, is that it's going to make white cisgendered heterosexual men the most valuable employees and leaders. This for two reasons: 1) They are the least likely group to launch a discrimination lawsuit or expect good treatment. 2) Given the racism/sexism/ etc. ism of every other group, no identity group is going to trust another identity group to be a leader or boss. They will trust white cisgendered heterosexual men though because he is the only one who has to be completely sympathetic and uptodate on every other groups language, identity, feelings and opinions.

The problem with this though, is that every individual who belongs to one or more identity group is going be hired by the state and federal governments and the bureaucracy is going to be crazy screwy in 5-10 years and our government really is going to be run into the ground by a bunch of grievance mongering nutcases who feel like they aren't getting enough participation trophies.

23
Pepedom 23 points ago +23 / -0

...white cis men have always been the most valuable employees.

13
sun_wolf 13 points ago +13 / -0

Cis isn’t a real word though.

4
Smurfection 4 points ago +4 / -0

Don't call me mate. I'm not European.

6
scoggydoogan 6 points ago +6 / -0

Diversity hiring in the government has been causing all the problems in the first place.

5
Smurfection 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yep. Government trying to right historical wrongs as if we can go back in time and do it all over, started this. Ya can't right a historical wrong by causing a present day injustice.

25
Pepedom 25 points ago +26 / -1

Nope. Straight male is a sex now too... so, you can't* fire them as well.

12
Chalupamancer 12 points ago +12 / -0

Interesting take. Yes it might be the case that making the law this way weakens the entire use of sex discrimination as a basis for lawsuits.

Oh, kind of like how a white (or even black person) can disagree with an issue and you’re automatically “racist”? Yeah, you fire a gay or trans person, it will be labeled as “transphobic” or “homophobic” even if the person royally fucked up.

It's a little different. A black person is black their whole life. A latino person is latino their whole life. I could proclaim I'm a woman today and sue my company for discrimination even though they were gonna fire me for poor performance next week.

Well. You know what they say: Translivesmatters.

Does this decision mean that anytime an employer fires an LGBT-ABCDEFG person, that they are going to have to worry about getting sued? This decision will Make the Lawyers happy. Mo Money, No Money, Mo Money.

18
Pepedom 18 points ago +18 / -0

...I know how to solve this.... never hire them in the first place. Only hire married people with children and an established record of heterosexual lives. Cuts down the risk.

It's not like the trans people are stable enough to get work experience to beat other candidates in terms of job experience

12
GilaMonsterous 12 points ago +12 / -0

That's what I was going to say. This ruling is going to make it harder for the LGBT members to get hired in the first place. Employers aren't going to hire a ticking lawsuit timebomb.

6
DeadOverRed 6 points ago +6 / -0

I guess you two haven't been involved in hiring. You're not allowed to ask, because that's discrimination. Such questions as "do you have kids?" have generally been disallowed because it might indicate the possibility of sex discrimination.

4
Pepedom 4 points ago +4 / -0

Lol. Ask?? I can see a tranny a mile away and if they somehow pass (they won't) and start acting tranny-ish later on, you can fire them for odd behavior (masked as bad behaviou). When questioned, you simply say that you had no idea they were trans.

Also, someone is going to make a lot of money creating the most intense social media back ground check imaginable.

1
DeadOverRed 1 point ago +1 / -0

In a decent world, yes. But in a decent world, this ruling wouldn't exist.

3
Dirk_Diggler 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's funny, they have no self-awareness to realize they are the biggest enemies when it comes to forms of "systemic discrimination." Whether it's a business or even prospective friendship propositions, nobody wants to deal with a bunch of ridiculous baggage having to walk on eggshells all the time. They just won't get hired, then they will cry foul when their "protections" are what makes them damaged goods.

Being objective, if you can't even come to terms with the reality of your own situation, why the fuck do other people have to be coerced to reinforce/validate your continued delusion? There are reasons people have drug tests and background checks before getting hired. They want to make sure you have your shit together.

And I am not even saying to discriminate againts trans people outright. Some are actually normal and don't force their shit on everyone else. But at the same time, they shouldn't be granted favor or special considerations, that's what equality is already for. Not only that, it's insulting because it presumes they aren't equal by creating special considerations, and just makes the terrible ones more terrible and harder for the normal sane ones (no I don't mean that as an oxymoron, some are normal just like some people are normal that have all types of tattoos and other body modifications, not something I would do, but doesn't preclude them from being nice normal people.)

2
deleted 2 points ago +2 / -0
1
Dirk_Diggler 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, "normal" is probably too broad and subjective as a term. I would probably define it as someone who goes about their life/business without imposing on others.

3
KeepingAmericaGreat 3 points ago +3 / -0

To ensure successful tamping down of lawsuits be sure to only offer vegan and non-dairy products in the office kitchen. Also recommended are online team-building exercises emphasizing social distancing of intolerant beliefs.

We are all in this together apart. Especially "those" people.
