Are you trying to convince me that the people attacking her are conservative?
This same trans woman said:
Prior to last week’s decision on Ms Forstater’s case, Ms Harrison told the tribunal: “The process of having surgery or hormone treatment cannot ultimately transform your sex. Every cell in my body has male chromosomes. I have a prostate. These things cannot be completely deconstructed. It is not possible to be biologically female. But that does not mean I can’t live a fulfilling life being treated as a woman.”
Leftists are the ones who want to say "whatever gender you are is your sex"
... We say that because gender and sex are the same thing and what you're born with is what you've got. You seem to have been entertaining leftist upside-down think for so long even you're falling for it
You're born with a dick, your sex is male, your gender is male.
You cut off your dick, your sex is male, your gender is male, you just have a mutilated dick.
If sex and gender aren't the same that means that person can be male sex and literally anything else. Why would conservatives approve of that stupidity?
Ok so your only complaint is that you think sex = gender? Well that doesn't matter to Gorsuch's opinion.
Gorsuch also applies similar logic to a transgender employee:
Or take an employer who fires a transgender person who was identified as a male at birth but who now identifies as a female. If the employer retains an otherwise identical employee who was identified as female at birth, the employer intentionally penalizes a person identified as male at birth for traits or actions that it tolerates in an employee identified as female at birth. Again, the individual employee’s sex plays an unmistakable and impermissible role in the discharge decision.
So fine if it helps you understand what he's saying by pretending these people are simply playing dress up then that's fine too. The point is that if a female can wear a dress then so can a male. Otherwise that is sex discrimination.
Edit: also they couldn't be "literally anything else"
Let's say you had Person X who identifies as Gender Y. If you don't let females OR males that identify as Y (e.g. tiger gender) work for you then that is not SEX discrimination.
Okay, since the leftists have purposefully tried to confuse the definitions, Imma try and patiently use another tack to explain this.
In many languages, including French and Spanish, the grammatical article (e.g. “the”, “a”, “this”, eng; “le”, “la”, “cette”, fr; “el”, “una”, sp.) that precedes a noun must agree with the number and gender of the word (in English, the number agreement reflects either singular or plural, i.e. “this skateboard” vs. “these skateboards”).
The gender agreement, either masculin or feminine, is connected not to the subject described by the noun, but to the word itself. So French has an entirely different word for a male nurse (un infirmier) than a female nurse (une infirmière), each with a gender article that, in this case, also matches the sex of the noun subject.
But other noun words also have genders attached, such as table. Thus “the table, a table” is, in French, “la table, une table” (feminine). This terminology and the language conventions certainly predate American politics (and even renaissance liberalism).
Now surely you don’t think a table is biologically female, right?
And you don’t think the word “table” is biologically female either, regardless of the language being spoken?
Clearly “gender” and “sex” are distinctly defined and separate concepts, even if closely related
There seems to be a divide between LGBTQ who claim there are more than 2 sexes and the ones who say there are only 2 sexes and a spectrum of genders. You can see this taking shape in the J.K. Rowling Tweets, where she's being labeled as transphobic for stating that trans women are biological men.
For a much older example of a reasoned trans-woman, look at Wendy (née Walter) Carlos. Arranger and performer of the excellent Switched-on Bach and co-composer, arranger, and performer of the soundtrack to Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange. She's a very private person so you won't find much from her on the topic except a decade or two ago a few comments that her sex-reassignment surgery in the 1970s didn't give her the result she was looking for.
Lots of trans-women and trans-men want nothing more than to be treated as human beings who just happen to feel better going about living their life as other than their birth sex. What difference should that make to me or anyone else?
It's wrong to paint every trans-person with a broad brush simply because the most vocal among them are manipulative attention seekers. The most vocal of any group are manipulative attention seekers. Fighting those people only gives them more power and drowns out reasonable discussion.
I guess you haven't been attacked, censored, deleted and kicked off websites, loss jobs or shamed by psychotic transsexuals trying to force you to recite their dogma word for word. You can't dissent a single percentage from their scripture or they will bully you until you crumble. They are some of the most intolerant people on this planet. As far as level headed ones, I haven't really run into that many. Let me know where they hang out. I'd like to talk to some who won't try to ruin your life over a simple difference of opinion.
Their manipulation backfired as now I view every single trans person in a negative light. That won't change until I meet some that aren't fucking insane drama whore control freaks. If that never happens, then oh well. As of right now all I see are bad apples. I'm not even sure it's just a few in the bunch spoiling the others. Everywhere I go online is full of sick fucks.
Hmm maybe you're new here... or maybe one of us are confused. Leftists are the ones who want to say "whatever gender you are is your sex". Look at the people attacking this trans woman who said she is biologically male https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/12/22/transgender-woman-accused-hate-speech-wearing-t-shirt-stating/

Then what is a Tomboy?
Someone of female sex and gender that has limited interest in masculine activities?
a woman
A woman that... finish it

Ca suffit?
Still a female?

The trans activists called them TERFS, trans exclusionary radical feminists.
J.K. Rowling is correct though. Trans women are not real women.

You've almost certainly run into the level-headed ones without even knowing it.
Just don't engage with assholes of any kind. You're wasting your time being angry about them. That's their manipulation of you.
