Winner-Loser

Eisenhower - Stevenson - Stevenson did not even carry Illinois, his home state. Who can argue that Eisenhower was "the winner" of this pair. Stevenson was a "character witness" for Alger Hiss.

Eisenhower - Stevenson - if you did not believe that Stevenson was a loser before this, this should have convinced you

Kennedy-Nixon - in the televised debate, Nixon looked like a loser; of course, that was Kennedy and Democrats colluding to make the stage as uncomfortable for Nixon as possible.

Johnson-Goldwater - effective television campaign, including the "Daisy" ad, and never-Goldwater-ers worked in concert with a hostile media

Nixon-Humphrey - Nixon splashed Humphy-Dumphry, the Socialist from Minnesota. Of course, this was the year of the imfamous DNC Chicago Riots, which made Democrats look like losers in general. George Wallace (yes, folks, he was a Democrat!) took 46 electoral votes (First election results I stayed up to watch.)

Nixon-McGovern - McGovern was an empty suit, and after the election even moreso. Electoral College: 520 to 17 (carried only Massachusets and DC - did not even carry his home state of North Dakota). (I took the Nixon side in a debate in my new Florida High School Americanism vs Communism class - got a respectful reception from a room full of brains-ful-of-much McGovern supporters)

Carter-Ford - Ford was not a loser, but after Watergate, The Pardon, and a hostile media, Ford almost beat Carter 297-240

Reagan-Carter - 'nuff said - Reagan looked like a winner, talked like a winner, walked like a winner, and made everybody who listened to him feel like winner. 489-49 - this while the phony Libertarian John Anderson was in but got 0.

Reagan-Mondull - Mondull, who was televised saying "I'm going to tax your asses off!" (or something like that). Loser. vs Reagan's roaring economy.

Bush-Dukakis - Helmet. Tank. Grin. Loser. 426-111

Clinton-Bush - Bush and his "read my lips"... in spite of Desert Storm I, this was enough to drop him into "loser" mode. And then there was the Little General.

Clinton-Dole - Dole went on to be the poster child for Erectile Disfunction. Nobody was surprised.

Bush-Gore - first there was The Tongue On Stage - we will find out about Gore assaulting motel maids only very must later. And Chad had a bad day, but Bush finally came out of it as the least of two losers.

Bush-Kerry - "Reporting for duty" - he essentially threw his phony medals over the fence a second time. Note by this time Democrats are gettingg really, really good at cheating the national election.

Obama-McCain - Who in these fora would not agree that Senator Gone Insane was not The Biggest Loser, even with the lovely lifeguard Sarah from Alaska trying her best to keep him afloat. Only McCain could make ODawg look like a winner.

Obama-Romney - Romney was a winner right up to the point he failed to twist the knife on Bengazi in the debate. If he had done that, he would have been President.

Trump-Clinton - HIllDawg was a loser, HillDawg is a loser, HillDawg will always be a loser. Lost an embassy, lost a country, lost a lot of e-mails to China, lost most of her mind, got lost on the way to the Rust Belt were people really did not like being ignored for a third ODawg term.

"hates to have to admit that they voted for a loser"

There have been and still are people in this forum--not shills mind you, actual Trump supporters--who passionately defend their vote for 0bama. It's funny and sickening at the same time.

And I submit we should have compassion for these poor souls. Given the choice between ODawg and Senator Gone Insane, I can see where that choice might make sense. You have Socialist and Socialist Lite.. why go half way if you feel like a winner?

These are not ideological people, they just like to say they voted for a winner.

We should convince them they should vote for someone who will help THEM to become a winner.

Biden will win MA, MD, DC, MN. I'm not certain he will win DE (!?!). Cuomo may have toxified NY, Murphy NJ. A candidate campaigning from his basement is too close to home.

I wouldn’t count on MN going blue this time. It wasn’t too far off before. If he plays his cards right he could flip Minnesota.

Minnesota always has one more box of ballots available to push a race over the edge...

Illinois will be blue, ca probably will be with all the cheating. Washington and Oregon will be blue but probably a lot closer than Dems will like. HA prolly still blue. Other than that and what was mentioned above...all red.

Between the detestable Gub'nah Inslee (in his last political job) and the clownshow that is CHAZ/CHOP/CHIP/CHAT/whatever, I'm guessing some moderate people will not look kindly at anybody with a (D) next to their name.

Cali just continues to cheat and cheat and cheat and lie and lie and lie. The DoJ should storm in there and clean up their voter roles themselves.
