Non US citizen here. I'm watching all of this shit going down and I wonder (seeing that the mayor of Seattle isn't willing to take corrective action). From what I can see this seems to be a direct threat on the democracy of the US. So, isn't this a matter the US president should address directly and automatically by means of force? And also, isn't this grounds for mayor Jenny Durkan to be tried and prosecuted for treason?

Ok that is interesting. Thank you. I was under the impression you have independent states (because they all have their own set of laws), but then you also have overarching concerns where the president could step in.

Yes. Long story short coming up, stop me if you've heard this.
In reality our American government has been broken/corrupt for a while now. In fact all three branches of our government are/were corrupt at the top and throughout the various agencies underneath. It is actually much larger than just our American government but we focus on this first.
Okay, Evil, working through the Left in our politics but with much help from the Right as well, managed to thoroughly invest our Executive Branch, the Office of President in the persons of bush/clinton/bush/obama-the-usurper.
Over the years they also invested our Legislative Branch, Congress, such creatures as Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Nadler, Mccain, and others being examples.
Evil also managed to gain control of our Judicial Branch, our courts.
Evil gained control of academia, higher education and also public schools, and used those to poison kids.
Finally, short story version, Evil gained control of most nedia.
Ok, they announced with obama-the-Usurper that the goal was to deconstruct America, a thing they had been working on for decades. They bred and supported anarchy in the streets, in homes, in schools. They preach Hate and racisms, any -isms which can be used to divide and make violence manifest.
So that yeah, today a lot of America stands in rebellion against the Rule of Law, against our Constitution, against God. Yeah, they are traitors but we yet lack the means to prosecute them. We STILL don't have an honest judicial system, Justice system, we cannot yet prosecute these matters. We are physically unable, for all the reasons I mentioned above.
So these things play out, we collect evidences and we demonstrate to the American People that YES, American government has ceased to be viable. Just as we have been demonstrating that the FBI is corrupt... Congress is corrupt... courts are corrupt...media is corrupt... so too we use this, Trump uses this to prove to all honest citizens that civilian government is not capable of restoring the Rule of Law.
There is a change coming tho, soon enough now we change that. Right now we are still setting the stage, but we intend to correct a lot of those lawless, anarchistic idiocies that Evil has produced.

Thanks for the explanation. There's a reason others such as myself keep a close eye on what is going on over there. We understand, if the US falls, we all fall. The US is the last bastion of our western culture.
