Anti-Crime units are crucial. Huge mistake.

They're involved in a lot of shootings!

Right, because their entire mission is to observe without being detected and then intervene as crimes are being committed, not afterwards. Obviously, if they do their jobs well, they are going to be in the middle of the action even more than uniformed officers.
