Now, this is a long-term sort of project, as I still have some bills to take care of, but thanks to a certain job opportunity I just got, I'm earning what I made in two weeks in one week now, and thanks to a few big checks I've been getting in the past month or so in addition to what I'm making now, I could be done with said bills sooner rather than later.
Still, that takes me to the topic at hand: once I am debt free, I plan to focus on saving so I can move out of CommIellinois and to somewhere more based and redpilled...at least, somewhere that will stay based and redpilled for a very long time. Thing is, while there are states that saw this COVID-19 plandemic for what it was and didn't shut down, how many of the states' populace is actually composed of hard broiled conservatives in 2020?
As in, they aren't buying into the aforementioned WuFlu, they see these protests and riots as being one and the same because it's happened like 7 other times in the past decade alone, and they embrace the freedoms that they still have in an America that I fear will come apart depending on how Trump navigates all of these issues that should've been easy for him to go and defuse over this past year, but I don't know what the hell is actually happening up at the White House now that we're in not one, but two messes as someone who's still stuck here in CommIellinois with a family that doesn't want to move anywhere because my parents aren't getting any younger, and any of the close relatives don't want to move anywhere outside of Illinois because "all of their family and community is there as well."
I'd love to hear from other fellow conservatives where good places to move to would be given how much closer to the ground your opinions would be from a conservative perspective than your average Internet denizen, especially on forums with some form of anonymity like these!
Oklahoma is the most free state. I've been through this with my wife just last week. We too live in Shitlinois and 3 years ago it was fine. Since Putzker and Grady Wilson, the place has gone downhill fast! We should have left the state 3 years ago, but, I decided to stay because it wasn't "that bad" and my wife's parents are up there in years. To hell with it now, we have to go!!! I've set a goal of 2/22 to have the property listed, my daughter finishes high school that spring. What worries me most is some arbitrary gun law that suddenly felonizes me. Next, the taxes are getting way out of hand. I pay more to tag my boat trailer than my truck!
We're looking to go south, but where is a big if. The shitheads have infiltrated everything, especially where there's a city. Which, unfortunately, my wife wants to stay somewhat close to because she insists on continuing to work professionally. I've been trying to get her to appreciate a mindless job, but she's not buying it. I quit working 13 years ago, because she insists. Fuck all one of us ended up doing was working to pay for childcare and taxes! So yeah, I retired at age 39, lol!
Thankfully, I'm not tied down with a family and kids yet! Makes nights lonely, especially the ones where my back could use a good massage, but given what you've observed about how quickly everything's gone to shit as have I in the past few years (let alone the past few months), my goal is to simply survive as long as I can, get out of debt, save up enough money for a "nice" apartment (they do exist, as one of my older brothers and his wife have been living in one ever since they got married 5 years ago) and just focus on getting myself started out there and one conquering the final challenge of adulthood and life itself: living on your own and taking on the responsibility of providing for yourself without having to depend on anyone else, let alone the government!
Best of luck! It's an upward battle, my best suggestion would be to get on a job path fast. I got paid squat out of college, but I took a chance on an industry, it grew quickly. Build that family too, it really does go a long way toward getting there. Unfortunately, I had to do most of my work in the city, that's where the money was. But we used that time to build wealth in the burbs, then quit the burbs 3 years ago. Now I have an expansive rural property in a shitty state. We should have just left 3 years ago. Hindsight!
