I seriously doubt it's a coincidence. There are a lot of days you can launch a new Ford Bronco, and picking the one that happens to share the date with the most famous incident ever involving a Ford Bronco is just not going to happen at random. It's not race-sensitive enough (he got off!) to get them in trouble, but it's it'll get them awareness you can't even pay for. While it seems like a pretty savvy marketing move on paper, doing anything race-adjacent is frankly asking for trouble these days, especially with the media willing to amplify the (otherwise hyper-minority) Twitteratti loonies if they see an advantage in doing so.

New Bronco is going to blow the FJ cruiser out of the water
Not really a good comparison since the FJ is discontinued and ~10 years old and the Wrangler being the only remaining competition with the Bronco. I would say doubtfully better than the FJ in terms of long term value and reliability (although Ford Raptors tend to hold their value). An older FJ cruiser 4x4 can be had ~$20,000, which is a pretty good deal for a unique, reliable toyota 4x4
IMO:
for off road performance: Bronco>FJ>Wrangler
for value: Used FJ>Jeep>Bronco
for Aftermarket: Jeep>Bronco(probably)=FJ
For open top cruising: Bronco=Jeep(newest gen)>FJ

The oj edition is painted white and comes with blood stained carpets and a pair of gloves that don’t fit.
The best part about the gloves is they actually fit like they're your own

Toyota introduced the FJ as a reaction to the explosion of the market for restorations (I.e. ICON) of the old FJ Series land cruisers. The FJ Cruiser while a great little truck, did fall short of some irreconcilable design flaws.
Ford is sort of doing the same of squeezing value of an old iconic brand, now that old broncos are climbing to the stratosphere
All the aftermarket stuff comes after being in the market for a few years. As far as value, that has to do with a fully depreciated vehicle and supply/demand and the fact they aren’t making them any more.
In terms of value, I suspect the Bronco will hold it value like a Raptor just in terms of its desirability.
Anyway we’ll see

Going to get down voted to hell over this, but I work with data for a living since before some of you were born. Coincidences like this happen all the time due to the sheer volume of significant events that occur daily. New and updated car models are typically launched in the summer. I sure wasn't aware and doubt many were of the exact anniversary of the OJ case. This being upvoted and slamming Ford just makes us look lstupid and like cucks. Of course they aren't going to change the date after they found out because anybody with half a brain knows OJ was guilty as hell and nobody cares about him.

I don't think this is worth getting outraged over. Most people have no idea about OJs arrest anniversary and seriously doubt that Ford did this deliberately with executive approval. Maybe this was pushed by some cuck at the company to make it that date without disclosing the significance. We've got bigger fish to fry. At least Ford has made an effort to manufacture in the US. Not worth throwing them under the bus for this.
