Not really a good comparison since the FJ is discontinued and ~10 years old and the Wrangler being the only remaining competition with the Bronco. I would say doubtfully better than the FJ in terms of long term value and reliability (although Ford Raptors tend to hold their value). An older FJ cruiser 4x4 can be had ~$20,000, which is a pretty good deal for a unique, reliable toyota 4x4

IMO:
for off road performance: Bronco>FJ>Wrangler
for value: Used FJ>Jeep>Bronco
for Aftermarket: Jeep>Bronco(probably)=FJ
For open top cruising: Bronco=Jeep(newest gen)>FJ
