Liberal Jews are often non-religious.

It's all so confusing with them. Is Jew a race, or religion? According to the old Testament, it's religious only. Any person who wished could become a Jew if they adopted the covenant of the Old Testament and were circumcised. They would become a member of whatever tribe they resided with. Throw in the fact that most Jews are Polish and Italian, and not semetic at all, and it's just a front to avoid any criticism at the top by the "Jews" like Soros who are always causing trouble.

That's not technically true, though. The Covenant passed through Israel, the man (Jacob, son of Isaac, son of Abraham,) and his descendants, also corporately called Israel. NOT anyone who wished could be circumcised and become a Jew, this is why the temple had the outer courtyard, where the Gentiles could to to worship The Lord, but they could not approach into the inner courtyard, where the Jews could worship. And EVERYONE was separated from the Holy Place besides the Priests, and the Holiest of Holies could only ever be entered by the High Priest, and only on ONE DAY, and NEVER without the Blood of the Sacrifice. There were MANY separations that are gone with Christ, so we don't consider them, but they did exist.

For a non-Jew to actually become a Jew, they had to descend from the line. Somehow. The best evidence for this was when, after the Resurrection and the Great Commission, Peter foolishly stopped eating with the Gentile Christians and only associated with the Jewish Christians, until he was corrected on this error. If ever there was evidence for the continued separation of Jew and Gentile along ethnic lines, regardless of what they believed, it's that.
