Have we ever seen a non-leftist get away with blackface? I'm sure they would parade that shit 24/7 if they had any pictures of a right winger in blackface. The fact that they haven't tells me that people on the right simply don't fucking do that because they're not retarded. Am I wrong?

PepeHandsEmoji 2 points ago +2 / -0

Adam Carolla actually. He dressed up as MR. T in the late 80's. He says the secret is to not apologize for it.

I’m wondering when they’ll get the Always sunny crew. Thru did black face a couple times. It was funny.

12
ChrisSuperDude 12 points ago +12 / -0

I feel like It's Always Sunny has the same protection that Family Guy and South Park has where they've been overly offensive since day one and came from a time where it was acceptable to make jokes so that's why they can't be cancelled. Plus all 3 shows have large fanbases from all sides of the political aisle so if they tried to cancel any of them there would be pushback.

7
Mexicola1976 7 points ago +7 / -0

I'm surprised they got away with kind of making fun of female comics-

Women are funny

9
KekistanPM 9 points ago +9 / -0

One of my favorite Weekend Update jokes was told by Norm MacDonald and went something like

"Please note that the percentages of these pie graphs do not add up to 100% because the math was done by a woman..."

"...for those of you hissing right now it should be noted that the joke was written by a woman.......yeah now you don't know what the hell to do!"

"...I was just kidding we don't actually hire women."

I don't think anyone could tell that one today and not get in big trouble.

I recently started rewatching The Man Show, god that show was good, I’m surprised Kimmel hasn’t been cancelled yet, but I guess that’s a perk when you sell your soul to the Libs.

I can't speak to what he might be saying now but for over a decade Adam was pretty open about the fact that Jimmy was actually the aforementioned starfucker, and specifically looked to do whatever he possibly could to make his show a "big deal", i.e. bending over for the networks to push whatever agenda they wanted no-questions-asked.

I still consider Loveline during the Carolla years to be the best radio in the history of the format, nothing else even coming close.

7
Mexicola1976 7 points ago +7 / -0

sounds like a WWE character/heel. The Ultimate Sellout™️

5
ChrisSuperDude 5 points ago +5 / -0

That was kind of Seth Rollins' character after he turned heel in 2014 when he betrayed The Shield and joined The Authority. Whenever the crowd would chant 'you sold out' he'd respond "I didn't sell out, I BOUGHT IN!"

4
Mitschu 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's THEEEEEE ULLLLTIMMMAAAAATYE ssseeeeellLLLLOOOOOOUUUUUUUUT!

"So I heard you were disrespecting the females, brother or sister as the case may be? That doesn't fly in my court, brother or sister. If you want to go there, brother or sister, well, I'm strictly against violence in all forms, especially from fascists and police, but I'm fixing to go full press peaceful protest on your ass until I rip out your goddamn spine."

"It's unbelievable! The Ultimate Sellout just took down the referee! Literally, this isn't a joke or a gag, that crazy motherfucker just straight up knifed a guy. Someone get over there and see if Mr. Cone is okay. Why would he do this?! His beef is supposed to be with Wifebeater!"

"Look, friends, I don't support so-called 'authority figures' abusing their power."

"Well, that makes sense. Somebody drag John off the mat and let's get this fight going. Who'll ring the bell, though?"

"Don't worry, I found some friends outside who'll pitch in."

"Oh MAH GAWD. Twenty black men in masks -"

"EXCUSE ME? EXFUCKING SCUSE ME?"

"Sorry! Twenty black men or women in masks -"

"WHOOOOOAAAAAAH?!"

"Sorry! Twenty people of oppression wearing symbols of resistance...?"

"That's better. Alright fellas or gallas as the case may be, remember to keep this friendly for the cameras."

"What in the everloving fuck, they just pulled pieces and are shooting wildly at Wifebeater! Their aim is atrocious, members of the audience are dropping like flies... oh shit, my fellow announcer just took one to the neck. What do I... just in, we're getting orders from our sponsors to cut the feed and just show this still photo of Sellout kneeling on Wifebeater, and blame the violence on Wifebeater being a Trump supporter."

...

"Fucking hell, we should have never swapped to CNN..."

It would never work. Carolla says what he thinks and he would be making the empty-headed celebrity guests squirm every night. Which would be hilarious and probably be a ratings hit, but the networks would never allow it.

A model talk show host is someone like Leno. He always played it right down the middle and was never personal or vicious with anyone.

deleted 11 points ago +11 / -0

patriotto 2 points ago +2 / -0

have you seen carson interview ayn rand? never again on late night tv! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBmViYDlrjU

10
TDSisReal [S] 10 points ago +11 / -1

Leno was good, Carson was great.

13
Keln 13 points ago +13 / -0

Carson was great. Not sure anyone could ever fill those shoes again. I love the Carson and Rickles bits.

5
Thrasymachus 5 points ago +5 / -0

If Carolla and Norm MacDonald did a show together their interview questions would end up actually physically injuring celebrity guests like psychic mind-blasts.

3
Keln 3 points ago +3 / -0

Ha so true. Norm is my all time favorite comedian. He loves to mess with stupid celebrities.

3
TDSisReal [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

I would actually pay for that show.

2
WU_HAN_FRU 2 points ago +2 / -0

Carolla is funnier than Kimmel, but you're right.

27
ForHumans 27 points ago +27 / -0

The time is ripe for a rise in right wing comedians. The left has gone full retard and aren't funny anymore. Dave Chappele's latest special was an unfunny racist rant. I saw his hatred for white people when he told white women to shut the fuck up.

5
Defender110 5 points ago +5 / -0

Carolla has been saying for a few months now that comedians will be the vanguard that leads us out of this woke hell that we're in now. They will be the ones to test the waters and push the boundaries. I sure hope so.

3
patriotto 3 points ago +3 / -0

podcasters are that vanguard

-4
EggOfDelusion -4 points ago +1 / -5

Impossible. No one would allow them to perform and no networks would buy their specials.

Don't @ me with some cuckservative comedian performing as proof.

He was talking about all the crazy people in California the other day. People have no idea what’s going on outside of their own local region. Everyone in my home state is afraid to leave home, living with mandatory face masks, no restaurants, no haircuts. Meanwhile there are free states where people are living with none of these restrictions, and it doesn’t seem like there are any health consequences whatsoever. Insane.

17
deleted 17 points ago +17 / -0
9
armchairqb 9 points ago +9 / -0

Yeah, I am angling for a vacation to a free state this summer. Not spending any money in this state to wear a mandatory facemask outdoors, every attraction half closed due to arbitrary, improvised “social distancing” rules.

5

Sounds to me like business is about to be booming

6
LaymanLeathers 6 points ago +6 / -0

As far as I can tell around me stayed pretty much the same. There just wasnt anyone going to the movies.

I actually worked more than I usually work during the quarentine tbh. I learned a lot. I learned how to sharpen a bunch of my tools. Purchased some new ones. Sold some stuff too. Never got sick. No one around me ever got sick.

3
TehAgent 3 points ago +3 / -0

Im in a red state and we are largely 'open for business'. There are some restrictions but I can go get a haircut, have a dentist appt next week, etc. Some random stores requires masks and/or wont let kinds under 16 in, but in general things more normal than a lot of other places.

5
catvideos3 5 points ago +5 / -0

Kids under 16 who are immune to the China Virus.

2
mct1 2 points ago +2 / -0

People have no idea what’s going on outside of their own local region.

Sounds like they live in a bubble. All I have to do is talk to my friends online since we all keep in touch and we live scattered across the SF Bay Area.

Everyone in my home state is afraid to leave home

Are we talking about the same California? I'm out there every day and I see people out and about so I definitely wouldn't say 'everyone'.

That said, the shutdown needs to fucking end already. Well, except in the shitlib-run hives. They can stay shut down forever for all I care.

25
PITPatriot 25 points ago +25 / -0

I'd like to see how Tennessee does out of all this- They're killing it right now so much, that the libs want to move there and ruin it. They already vacation there.
