EDIT: Answering most common questions or suggestions:

1. I use white noise and earplugs. The fact is that we BEG you to be quiet at least at nighttime and you don’t care. How am I supposed to be supportive of police-free environment if in this environment no one cares about people who actually live here? You blast music 24/7 and don’t give us ANY BREAK. I put earplugs in to hide from insane party outside, and I take my earplugs out and end up in an insane party outside. Fulfilling this simple request will make us feel heard and respected.
2. If you want me to move, pay me 10k. 5200 to break my lease, about 1500 in moving expenses, and inconvenience fee for time spent looking for a new apartment that’s as good as the one I live in right now. If you are interested, I will send you the invoice😊
3. This is not the normal noise at Cal Anderson. Not for a week straight, 24/7.
4. Being able to afford to live in an expensive apartment doesn’t make feelings of people living here any less valid.
5. Not liking CHAZ because it affects my quality of life does not make me racist.
6. We did not ask to live in CHAZ. You can hang out at CHAZ and come home elsewhere to where you can sleep in peace. We cannot.
7. What’s the point of comparing ruining our sleep and bringing us daily headaches with 24/7 noise, and the racism against POC? Also I am literally an immigrant to the US from a country where we never had black slavery. Stop justifying making me suffer for something neither I nor my ancestors did.
8. My white privilege does not give me a superpower to block out this noise, nor does it make the perpetual noise acceptable.
