It was terrifying when he said 60% of people polled thought favorably of BLM! That is fucking horrifying! It was Rassmussen too. Do you believe that? I would think that Trump's approval would be skyrocketing and BLM polling would be in the shitter.
Because the media has filtered BLM through a lens that they are nothing but peaceful, grief stricken activists who are fighting peacefully for racial justice and equality. And if you oppose BLM or don't march along with them, you want innocent black people to be murdered.

I think the problem is, 80% of their supporters really think they're just an equality movement, so why wouldnt they approve of a movement that according to the media is all about ending racism. There's probably also a polling bias. I forget the term for it, but essentially, people will sometimes answer a poll based on what they think is socially favorable, but when it comes time to actually vote, will vote for what they actually want.

It's because the George Floyd case is the only unjustified police killing ever to be caught on video. I think the public thinks "Oh, so this is what they've been trying to tell us about!" rather than "Oh, they're finally not dead wrong."
Except Fentanyl Floyd died of a fentanyl induced heart attack, not police action. It wasn't unjustified. He shouldn't have been taking shitloads of heart attack inducing drugs and fighting police.
I mean, I think it looks like a manslaughter charge would be more appropriate because for someone without a heart condition and the drugs in his system, the treatment received at the hands of the cops would not have resulted in death. But it wasn't an overdose that killed him. I saw a really good video on the subject (link below) where the metabolites present indicate that Floyd had already passed the possibility of OD'ing. The action of the cops is what pushed his body over the line, but a healthy person would not have died from the treatment (it happens in Israel all the time).
All of that big brain stuff aside, people are dumb and emotional. The video was very emotionally disturbing because George Floyd was in such distress, and without the context of the struggle, the treatment looks very cruel. People are too stupid to do more research and if we want to be winners and not losers, we have to come to terms with that and work accordingly.

I was on Fentanyl for 5 days recovering from a broken humerus. Excited delirium is real. I felt like I could take on the world, with a broken arm. Just add in poor mental health and a large man with muscle mass and it’s like trying to ask an elephant to calm down.

If BLM cared one whit about justice they would've pressed for the bodycam footage first thing. It still hasn't been released. If it is and it substantiates your basic claim, you know we're in for bigger riots than ever. So the Mayor etc is likely to never release it. And sacrifice 4 cops instead.

Maybe, like Trump's approval, are still polled in mostly metro cities, and city people are more onboard with this than they are with Trump. It may just show the bias in the polling even more...the fairweather city Trump supporter may also be pro-BLM...
