That George Floyd thing was horrific. I don't care if the dude had JUST killed someone, a cop doesn't get to be judge, jury, and executioner. I was all for police reform at that point.

And then the riots popped off, and the left began suggesting crazy ass shit like reparations and defunding the police. At that point they lost me and my desire for police reform.

Then this Atlanta thing happens. As justified a police shooting as you will EVER see. Cop is still fired, morons burn down the Wendys and you have the liberal media pointing to this as more "evidence" of police brutality.

Way to go. In 3 weeks time you had me supporting police reform to legit thinking police reform is not even necessary. That Derek Chauvin was nothing more than an ego-tripping moron/asshole and that his actions have nothing to do with the police at large.

... and training, both of which require funding.

I’m all good with most of the (pre 2020) hippy shit for cops: regular scheduled de escalation training. Fucking mandatory PTSD oriented counseling (paid time, obvi). Mandatory vacation usage.

You can do so much - add in the new EO from Trump: National “bad apple” database, use of force database. Decredentialling database to stop bad cops from moving between precincts

I honestly think most Americans would be on board for these things... And then these retards start cancelling cops in major cities...

Exactly! These are the tangible ways to make a police force more effective. The "defund" movement is dumb.
