so when the Ford foundation in Kellogg donate to a known terrorist group name black lives matter expect some fucking arrests..

If only. I have told myself for years now to be patient, perhaps the hammer will finally come down and the playoffs will finally happen in the lead up to the 2020 election. In truth, there was much more winning before the start of this year. Instead of getting tired of winning, I am starting to miss it. I hope something happens real soon.

9
SuperCoolWagon 9 points ago +11 / -2

The past three or so weeks have been an utter disaster. We need a victory. High profile arrests. Or even just Barr getting fired for failing to deliver that.

6
DRKMSTR 6 points ago +7 / -1

The ruling of "Corporations are people" is effectively how you can sue "McDonalds" instead of suing shareholders directly. If this didn't stand, then you effectively couldn't sue a corporation since it would be too decentralized.

3
deleted 3 points ago +4 / -1
8
Block_Helen 8 points ago +8 / -0

This is political speech

Yes, they are free to speak. They are also liable for what happens at their restaurants.

7
DRKMSTR 7 points ago +7 / -0

The corporations are people ruling is a legal fix, if they weren't people, then you effectively couldn't sue them. You'd have to sue each decentralized part.

So "Shake Shack" can be sued by the police dept. and shake shack then goes after the sub-entities that caused the issue, such as the franchise location, franchisee(s) and employee(s). It makes legal battles easier.

7
BropolloCreed 7 points ago +8 / -1

The franchiser would be a co-defendant in the initial complaint, which typically includes "Does 1-100" in a case like this.

There's going to be a suit, and Shake Shack will try to settle, because they'd get annihilated in discovery.

2
Block_Helen 2 points ago +2 / -0

Right, that's how it breaks down in practice. But ultimately they're sue-able.

Groups incorporate so that they are not individually liable. But since they are groups of people, they retain some of the rights of individuals (speech).

3
VetforTrump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Only if you can pierce the corporate veil.

1
SweetSpot2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

Isn't BLM incorporated? So....

1
Block_Helen 1 point ago +1 / -0

So what?

2
SweetSpot2020 2 points ago +2 / -0

If I recall the discussion, it was about having to sue an inc. entity. It would be nice, a dream I guess, if BLM, inc. could be sued for damages to various and assorted cities. Instead of tax dollars.

Find out who it was and castrate these sick people in the streets. This nationwide lawlessness will only grow stronger when NO ONE is punished.

9
HockeyMom4Trump 9 points ago +9 / -0

Public castration to deter anyone else from ever trying this again. Also, anyone that does something like this need not procreate. They would be a horrible parent.

10
Sesquame 10 points ago +10 / -0

Don't threaten pantifa with something they consider a reward

3
Southern_Belle 3 points ago +3 / -0

Okay, that's a bit harsh.

But I do believe we should keep lists of traitors and criminals who might be at risk of escaping justice.

There are ways of ensuring justice without harming them physically. Or breaking the law.

But it requires planning and a cool head.

Edit: clarification

3
SuperCoolWagon 3 points ago +5 / -2

That would do. What I was thinking just now was to handcuff their hands and feet, and then run over their arms and legs with a 20 ton truck. Just squash them like tomatoes while they scream.

3
CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +4 / -1

We all feel the rage. Due process, still. Like ktfo, and run them up a flag pole, upside down. Tape their mouth so no one can hear them scream. Or at least do this to the people driving around with no license plate and filed off VIN numbers, taking down addresses to burn down later killing everyone inside.

That sounds like rule of law. Only if Feds get involved is what I expect. Local and State there won't do anything but turn criminals loose.

14
deleted 14 points ago +14 / -0
8
DRKMSTR 8 points ago +8 / -0

That's where you're wrong. Cops hold grudges.

Great local story from some cop friends:

The local police department puts on a yearly demo derby to raise funds, one year a state legislature representative came by, skipped the safety brief and hopped in a car. He drove straight into the drivers side of another car (Safety Rule 1), breaking a cops arm.

For the next year, they kept their eyes out for his car and made sure he received as much scrutiny as legally possible. Could be a rumor, but apparently getting arrested for a suspended license due to traffic violations really sucks when you're in the car with a woman that's not your wife.

1
BigPanda71 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sounds about right.

1
Southern_Belle 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's not a grudge.

That's justice.

I'd say they just have long memories. That's a good thing.

5
HockeyMom4Trump 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yes. I remember after 9/11 how much New Yorkers loved their firefighters and police. I hope they hit these attempted murderers hard with the maximum penalty.

11
WU_HAN_FRU 11 points ago +15 / -4

I don’t think so.

If the officers were FBI agents or postal workers, that would be a federal crime. It didn’t happen in a federal jurisdiction. It wasn’t a federal investigation.

15
deleted 15 points ago +19 / -4
9
WU_HAN_FRU 9 points ago +12 / -3

But attacking, or attempting to kill, a city cop is a state crime, not a federal crime. That is indeed how it works.

If they did, it was probably because they used an explosive.

If there is some federal statute that treats poison similar to a weapon of mass destruction that I don't know about, then maybe they would charge him with a federal crime, or if there were some way to construe it as having affected interstate commerce, then maybe.

U.S. v. Lopez might or might not apply.

It's a bad situation, because the state and local governments are very corrupt, to risk understating it. But then again, the DOJ and federal courts are equally corrupt.

What's mind boggling to me are the people demanding that cops risk their own assets in the performance of their duty, or they have to get insurance. I don't think most people understand what a cop's salary looks like. Where I live police officers start at $32,000 per year, that's not a lot of money. If you put your time in there's room for growth, some people want to make detective, that sort of thing. For the ones that don't, it's just a job, a relatively low-skill low-paying job, the requirements for which are a high school diploma and a clean record. A man could make a better living picking up a trade and I'd be willing to bet that's exactly what would happen if the already low-paying job of peace officer requires an expensive insurance policy that likely wouldn't be affordable at the current starting salary. These lefties want what they want but they don't seem to grasp that to get those things, they're are going to have to turn a police officer from a low-skill low-pay job into a highly-skilled highly-paid job. We want and expect the world from our peace officers, but at the end of the day we start them off at the kind of pay that these lefties want McDonald's employees to earn.

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +3 / -1

They don't understand economics at all, just look at the demands from chaz/chop.

Or just look at AOC.

3
DRKMSTR 3 points ago +3 / -0

They should announce it days in advance.

That gives the city time to prepare and possibly negotiate to maintain police service.

It also makes it so much scarier, looters and rioters will be gathering in preparation.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Dear God I hope I'm wrong!! But if NYC is a warzone with no rule of law, that is likely to spread through the region from DC to Boston if it hasn't already. Maybe the best strategy for us is simply to keep them from spreading west, but it takes coordination and planning to decide where to hold the line. I think they'll define their own north-south border.

Isolated cities elsewhere are a LOT easier, but that doesn't help pedes who live in a warzone. Communities need to defend themselves and so far that's always worked. Containment is the winning strategy, just like at the early stages of CCPvirus. Tackling these idiots head-on like a wrecking ball may not be avoidable in some spots, but that's the worst scenario.

Glass was in a pizza delivered to NG in DC. We are dealing with animals.

Someone else was saying this is a State crime because it's State (or local) cops. Idk but he seems to be in at least a related profession.

There is no rule of law so it's moot. This has gone hot.

I would think that too. Any felony is federal, right? So I would think any federal agency that wanted could pick this up, then keep State level out of it. Which seems like the only way anything like this would get pursued.

Injunction order for business caught doing this. None of that "employee acted alone" BS.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +2 / -1

Rule of law? You think that's still in effect? Lol.

BigPepeEnergy 5 points ago +5 / -0

Its time for us to adopt the tactics of the left, boycott everything that supports this bullshit. FOR GOOD. No more money for them ever, put them all out of business.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 0 points ago +1 / -1

Not nearly enough. Let God have mercy on our enemies. We can't afford to.

LeftistsAreInsane 5 points ago +5 / -0

What's nearly as disgusting is that all of the top comments on the Twatter link are from lefties accusing the cops of lying and saying they deserve it because of pepper spray.

One of two things is happening. Either lefties are following this poster en masse, or Twatter is propping up leftist posts.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 0 points ago +1 / -1

Either that or leftists are insane ;)

ALL NYC COPS NEED TO WALK OFF THE JOB RIGHT NOW!!! What are they waiting for? What good is their all mighty Union we hear so much about? Leave that Sodom & Gomorrah to burn to the ground and fall into the sea! It’s what the governor, mayor and a majority of the sick people there want.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +2 / -1

Not just NYC but every city where they're abused. Plenty of job openings for cops all over the Country in areas that have a good boss ad a sane public. We should all be paying a visit to our local Police chief to encourage them, as well as to promote the idea of actively recruiting good cops who quit.

NuclearDreams 4 points ago +4 / -0

The left wants to rely on the military and the police to continue assisting them in their efforts to keep the US locked down and to get guns out of the hands of American citizens, yet can't keep from turning them into enemies. This was a stupid move by whoever did it. All it will do is push the police officers to be more paranoid about possible attacks from all angles.

Oh well. Nothing says "well might as well vote for Trump" quite like having some teenager pour bleach in your soda.

4
driveshack 4 points ago +4 / -0

What is happening to this country. They honestly think the gov is fascist and allows them attack agents of the state at the same time.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +2 / -1

You used the word "think." That does not apply.

4
cctrumpette 4 points ago +4 / -0

Whoever put the bleach in the drinks should be charged with attempted murder, and charge the rest of the employees, manager, district manager AND the fucking ceo as accessories. And then see how fast this shit stops.

The war has gone hot. Rule of law is gone, at least in these warzone cities.

Yes lawsuits should be filed, but it will be a while before they gain any traction in any Court.

ShampocalypseWOW 4 points ago +4 / -0

Sounds like a certain fast food joint needs to get burned down...

3
idolkek 3 points ago +3 / -0

Seriously. Why is there a free pass to burn any business for no reason at all with zero consequences and yet Shake Shake is somehow cool.

3
alpha_omega 3 points ago +3 / -0

Shake Shack is a public company. I hope the cops sue the company. If Danny Meyer doesn't give up the perps, just inform NYC anti-cop protesters that his restaurants are frequented by capitalist pigs and food there must be "liberated".

Clearly the best move! Lol. The rule of law is done. At least in NYC and environs. Which means DC to Boston.

IntrepidBurger 3 points ago +3 / -0

Stuff like this pisses me right off. What a bitch move.

We really need to execute people who do this. Set a solid example for the cucks across the country.

0
CuomoisaMassMurderer 0 points ago +1 / -1

Emphasis is on WE. Rule of law is done, at least in these blue cities. Cops should quit those jobs, relocate to somewhere sane. Plenty of job openings, and any PD would rather someone who has experience

3
ignorant_slob 3 points ago +3 / -0

We should protest by blocking the entrance to every shake shack. Do you think the cops will intervene?

3
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 3 points ago +3 / -0

Shake Shack should have their IPO revoked and be under investigation by the FTC.

3
StaryHickory 3 points ago +3 / -0

These people are scum. Any cops out there, remember that America appreciates you. Get the hell out of NYC and the big liberal cities.

3
booblitchutz 3 points ago +3 / -0

The national guardsmen who found glass baked into their pizza who refused to name the pizza restaurant or file charges need to step up here. This kind of shit can’t be allowed to slide!

3
Thehumancentipede 3 points ago +3 / -0

Trump needs to come out strong about this. We have to draw the line somewhere. We need STRENGTH

0
CuomoisaMassMurderer 0 points ago +1 / -1

Look at your screen name. WE are the strength.
