Astra is made by P&G, same company that owns gillette. They are cheap enough so it's not much money but fuck them. I ordered a box of 100 to find that out. Feather blades are made in Japan, so I'm liking those the most but hadn't tried them yet. I've been using Dorco for about a year I guess because I ordered them when I got my safety razor and they are terribly inconsistent. With Dorco most are ok but have some burrs, some are terrible, and a few are great.
True, I tried feather, not bad, but not as forgiving as Astra. Never tried Dorco but I'm aware of them. Either way, glad I'm not contributing much to the advertising machine.
I'VE already cancelled by membership to DSC, and I sent them an email as to why.
