We arrest drunk drivers so they don't murder innocent people. The police were making sure everyone else in the community got home safely. If he hadn't resisted arrest he could have slept it off in the drunk tank and nobody would be dead, but he did, and he is. Now the world is now a safer place and I ain't even mad.
Ok wesley lets say they did order an uber helped his ass into it and left him on his way. What if he woke up in a strangers car ? I wouldnt be civil if i woke up in a strangers car. What if he injured or killed the uber driver? Who is really at fault? The cops certainly would've had a hand in it. The truth is this guy was a piece of shit. He had been arrested multiple times before and it was only a matter of time before he went back in or died for something stupid like drugs or resisting arrest.
