It is deeper than just Democrats. Communism has long targeted the black population in an effort to weaken America. Granted, these days there is no discernible difference between the two anymore. I recommend reading the works of Manning Johnson, particularly Color, Communism, and Common Sense and how Communism infiltrated HBCU's. He was a Communist but eventually left the party. Interesting stuff.
A republic will forever not need guarding. Because it is something precious that is created by man for the benefit of all. And if all benefit it means there will be those that will grow under it's protection seeking to subvert it.
