Over here Aldi and Asda have been great. You get the impression they are grudgingly doing the bare minimum to comply with the law. You are in and out pretty quick and once in store no one enforces any distancing. I have had staff stand and chat with me completely normally.
Tesco (Kind of like if Target and Walmart had a baby) on the other hand...total fucking Little Hitler fest. They have a stupid one way system that is appallingly thought out and about 450 staff members constantly badgering the people queueing.
You can just tell half the staff are absolutely loving this. I had one fuckwit shelf-stacker screeching at me "Stand in the square! 2 metres!". I was like "woman, you are blocking the aisle and there is someone right behind me and someone right in front of me, I literally cannot stand anywhere else!"
