To have your family destroyed through divorce and remarriage. To have known your way of life only in it's dieing days during the 90s. To have seen your culture be gradually destabilized and eroded by television, video games, and subversion at every level of society over the years. To understand that social media destroyed your generation. This is our privilege.

And as if that wasn't enough, they had to kick us while we were down and tell us we still had too much. They had to insult us with slurs invented in academic conferences and distributed through textbooks and classrooms. But this is no death blow. Instead, it's a wake up call to all of us who have been losing ground since the day we were born. It's a wake up call to all of us who thought it normal to live with no culture and to hold nothing sacred.

They pushed too hard and have awoken the sleeping giant that is western civilization.
