Think about it, wearing a facemask should reduce transmission. 1) you dont spread it as much if you have it (and by it I mean H1N1, HB-19, TB, HIV, flu a/b, etc) by sneezing or coughing. 2) wearing a mask, personal hand to mouth and nose transmission is reduced because it is in the way. 3) mask reminds you to keep you hands clean.

This is for close proximity use only. If you are doing something that people are not sitting in top of you, then relax.
