I finally made my account here after recieving this late last night. This is effective demoralizing for sure, my family will not have the opportunities I had. My rage about the generational theft of taking something so wholesome and twisting it into a mouthpiece of the left is unreal. If I posted this on something like Facebook I'd just be attacked, hoping here people will at least understand.
Scouts is run off the backs of volunteers, and local donations (mostly churches). This is theft by infiltrating the trust in charge of shared assets and diverting to external, political aims.
It started even earlier. They could have survived going unisex, but this feels more definitive (they are replacing the last point of the scout law, Reverent, with Diversity). It's no longer mismanagement, now it's actively attacking their own supporters.
I’ve long defended BSA against exaggerated accusations of child abuse and reactions to their decision to fully integrate girls into the program.
I’m not standing for this Hitler youth bullshit.
By kowtowing to race-based hate groups and anti-American organizations, these BSA leaders are violating their oath to do their duty to God and Country, particularly their promise to bementally awake and morally straight, and violating the Scout Laws ofTrustworthiness, Loyalty, Courtesy, Bravery, and Reverence.
Their statement tries to cloak mindless social conformity with banal politically-dictated slogans, belied by their actions. Throwing the word ‘diversity’ around to cover for overtly racist teachings is as cowardly and scoundrelly as KKK Democrats’ euphemisms for unethical Jim Crow laws.
