When adopting a child, you get to read all documents relating to your child. This includes everything relating to why they were removed from their birth parents custody. I can't understand how more cops don't lose it after seeing the things described in those papers.

I was adopted from birth. I spoke with a member of my biological family recently & he told me that he paid for my birth mother to be able to afford a lawyer for a private adoption, because the last thing he was going to let happen, was that I somehow end up in CPS. He’s in a position to have some knowledge about how that goes. I was so floored when he told me that, that I didn’t ask more about it.
