Not quite. This is what I saw watching the video numerous times in chronological order:
Guy with skateboard-guy (black clothes, greenish backpack) attempts to swing skateboard at blue-shirt's face.
crowd: "Get the cop"
crowd: "Get him"
crowd: "Get his license plate"
crowd: "Follow him"
Blue-shirt tackled by the skateboard-guy
The woman in a light colored dress grabs blue-shirt's shirt.
Blue-shirt pulls out gun
crowd: "He's going to fucking kill you" <-- I think that was a failed warning to the skateboard guy, not meant as a threat. Although it's still possible blue-shirt guy might have heard it and thought it was a threat in the moment.
Antifa has been using skateboards as weapons. The wheel side bashes in vehicle windows, flat side bashes in skulls. These aren't "skateboarders". Plenty of riot videos out there to prove it. Premeditated.
Not so clear cut, if you look at the thread there is a video of the gunman (militia guy) assaulting a female at the rally prior to the shooting. Thats why they were chasing him. He attacked them first. Putting this out there so you don't start blindly defending the guy without knowing the full story.
Okay he hit a girl- did he use a weapon? Was her life in danger? Assault is a misdemeanor. He was hit with a skateboard multiple times (felony assault) and he had retreated and he wasn't a threat.
You're saying that it's okay to run after somebody (multiple people) screaming I'm going to kill you- he then produces a gun. He's assaulted again and a fight ensues over control of the gun. Skateboard asshole or other asshole catches lead.
Concern trolls are the absolute fucking worst. Go to fucking Reddit. Or better yet, look at the incident from the other 3 angles that are widely available.
Simmer down now. All I'm saying is the video OP posted isn't the full story. I'm saying the same thing you are... let's get the full breadth of information before we make a proclamation about which party is guilty or innocent here. I would be more than happy to view the other three angles if I had a link I could, but you've supplied none. If your definition of concern trolling is telling others to get the full story before making a judgment than you're guilty of being a concern troll by your own definition.
There is another video with a woman on the ground, although it was a little bit before this incident. There also appears to have been a scuffle right before the blue-shirt guy gets chased off. It's hard to know exactly what happened without video of that scuffle. It's possible that someone started the scuffle with the blue-shirt guy, or that blue-shirt started it.
It does seem in favor of self-defense at the moment, given he was being chased by an angry mob yelling violent things, 2 people attacking him at the same time, and one using a skateboard like a club. That said, I'd like to see if there's more footage than the 2 videos I've seen.
Exactly. I'm on the side of truth and facts. I don't want communist mobs tearing down our history and I'm all for militias protecting our history if the law enforcement refuses to, but I also want to know exactly what happened before I make a decision about what happened. I hope the militia guy is in the right legally because I am on the opposite idealogical side of the anarchist/commie dirt heads. I hope the assholes who were mobbing him are charged and he receives a fair and just trial if he is even charged, which I haven't heard if he was so maybe the police do see it as self defense.
It's irrelevant what happened 15m ago or yesterday there is no justification to give "street justice". Those are separated incidents not the same continuous one.
You're probably right. I haven't seen all the videos. IF, IF, IF the gunman was on camera beating on people unprovoked and those chasing him were defending themselves from him it's possible that what they did could be justified. Now I'm not saying that's the case and it's looking like it's not the case but I'm saying we have an incomplete picture.
For this video imo he was justified to do as he did, havent seem the earlier one and he could be wrong on that one. All I know is if you come at someone with a skateboard, bike lock or whatever expect to be shot if you're attacking someone who's armed

You can see one second into that video that the video start with:
Woman backing up into him, mans arms appear a bit crossed on his belly.
Woman throws an elbow into his gut.
Woman outstretches her arms
He seems to slide her to his left so she can back up without bumping him.
Woman purposely puts herself back in front of him and continues backing up into him.
He says something to her.
He attempts to walk around to her right
Woman scoots forward and continues to stay in front of him and bumps him again.
He throws her in the direction she keeps bumping him in and goes down.
