Dueling would definitely help contain conflicts and reduce negative externalities. If both parties consent 100% voluntarily with no coercion, then what’s wrong with a duel?
Because black people are already pretty much doing that and innocent people die. The fact is nobody but you and I would follow the rules of dueling. Our society just lacks the sense of honor it once had.
