Drunk dude overpowered 2 cops in a Wendy's parking lot. Those cops did the right thing, but they were fucking weak to have 2 of them overpowered by one guy.
I'm sorry, but if folks are weak and need to gain control they're gonna have to go far to restrain/control people. Maybe if Chauvin had more red meat and less soy in his diet, he could've held fentanyl floyd down without needing to sit on his neck for 8 minutes. My point is, a cop held to some sort of physical fitness standard would not have needed to use that hold as long or at all. The issue would disappear if we quit conceding to the left's bullshit and actually required people to be strong where it is necessary.
My dad is a retired cop. I used to use the gym to work out myself. Plenty of those cops were in there working out constantly to be strong. Why? So they would be more safe...

Video is also clear Floyd had stopped responding. So while applying the hold initially might have been the correct decision, keeping it applied long after the perp goes unresponsive was not.
