I thought they already admitted the neck hold was legit and had already voted it to no longer be used?

I swear that was a news cycle already.

The neck hold was legit, however Chauvin did not apply it correctly, the MPD site regs (before as you say they voted to no longer use it and thus removed it) said to release the hold as soon as a perp was not actively resisting, which Chauvin failed to do.

This isn't hard. 2 things can be true at the same time.

I'm not disagreeing at all. I'm saying if the cops were held to fitness standards it wouldn't have played out that way

Sure it would, since the cops had completely immobilized and restrained and cuffed Floyd. Then held him down with the force of 4 people for so long he passed out. Make those cops stronger, they still hold the position, Floyd still dies.

This isn't even a situation like the Wendy's in Atlanta, Chauvin and his goons had Floyd mastered and then just kept the pressure on for shits and giggles.

Atlanta cops were good guys attempting to do the right thing and the perp went all the way forcing their hands. Had they been stronger and fitter, they could have probably controlled him better. Chauvin and his band of merry men were idiots and people who defend them are also idiots.

Floyd was cuffed. He could have been repositionned, his vitals assessed.

Dunno why you guys defend a scumbag liberal like Chauvin. Lots of anti-trump shills here.

He was cuffed the whole time that four cops couldn't keep him in the vehicle. There's no reason to call Chauvin a scumbag. He just had the bad luck to be there. He was well aware he wasn't doing anything with his knee to kill Floyd.
