Would be interesting but don’t fool yourself into thinking it matters. Good luck finding an excuse for kneeling on someone for almost 9 minutes straight. Easily could have gotten off of him 4-5 minutes earlier if not sooner.

The only reason to get off him was for optics. And they have plenty of excuses to put optics last. The knee didn't do jack shit to Floyd except confuse people as to how he died.

Nah it would have been because the original purpose of doing it was done.

That's a reason they could reposition him, but not a reason they should. Chauvin probably didn't want to make it look as if the knee hold actually hurt him like the onlookers thought. What's he going to do? Even the EMT's couldn't reverse his drug abuse and heart attack. I suppose they could have boxed him up and become dancing pallbearers?

No, the reason to get off him is that the regs the MPD issued on choke holds is to release as soon as the perp stops actively resisting. Good cops follow regs. Stop making excuses for bad cops.

There's a big difference between choking someone and having their knee against his neck. Floyd didn't choke to death, and Chauvin wan't "holding" a choke.

Having anything against someone's neck is what we refer to as a choke hold, even if you don't apply enough pressure or don't apply pressure to the proper part of the neck to choke someone out.

That's why the holds are dangerous. That's why Trump has now banned them nationwide.

Why do you go against Trump this much on his biggest fan site ? That's my question.
